July 2018 - This is the beginning of a look into the adventures I have while traveling around the county working on construction projects. I have been in the industry since 2002, and this career leads to many opportunities to meet interesting new people, and see some wonderful places! Thanks to the power of GoPro, and the help of some awesome people, I hope to share some of my world with you!
I am an avid scuba diver, certified through Scuba Schools International (SSI) for Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Master Diver. I am trained in Rescue, Deep Diving, Night and Limited Visibility, Oxygen Enriched Air (Nitro), Drysuit and the Technical Divers International (TDI) Sidemount Tank certification. I'm also pursuing TDI Solo Diving certification. To say diving is my hobby is to minimise an obsession!
I also love to shoot, and am fairly active in amateur gun smithing.

Episode 31 - Atlanta, GA - Rebreather Diving with Whale Sharks
My buddy John and I head to Atlanta, Georgia with Aquatrek Adventures out of Salem, VA to dive the largest indoor aquarium!
This is an exciting dive, as we will be doing a Try Rebreather Dive, using Poseidon Se7en Rebreathers, and getting to dive with whale sharks, mantas, grouper, and sharks!
... and... there is an aquatic marriage proposal planned!!

For Thanksgiving 2020, I met up with a buddy in Brooksville, Florida to do a dive at Buford Springs, one of the deepest caverns in the state of Florida. After 4 days of rigorous sidemount training with Arthur, it was time to do some fun dives! We hopped on the boat, and headed from Playa Del Carmen across to Cozumel to dive the Palancar Gardens reef! This was the kind of reef I had been wanting to see, with great vertical rises, swim-throughs, and beautiful colors :)

Holy cow this was a fun weekend! Some of the folks from the TransCanada Mountaineer Xpress Pipeline Spreads 5 and 6 decided it was time to blow off some steam and hit some rapids! We visited the Lower New River to cut our teeth on some whitewater, going with Ace Adventure Resort in Oak Hill, WV! What part of lake
Are y'all rec divers or certified? Just wondering.
At the time, no, but prepped heavily for this dive, had checkpoint depths to verify we were good, and had plenty of breathing gas for the dive. Could always see the (faint) glow from the sun. Have since been cavern and intro-to-cave certifed. If you have never dove this, please dont go into the what-ifs. Im aware of this. This space is as big as the astrodome

We've got the same difficulties in finning as when I was first starting out too. Actually your reverse frog kick is even better in the sense that you are actually moving backwards. When I was learning it I can't just do it, and when I was able to- it was pulling me up lol. Keep up the good work :)

We hoped so too :( it looked tired, but did manage to swim away. We got it back in the water, and assisted it for a bit before letting it go. The camera doesnt show that part

@@anko6999 Don't be a dick. Any time is a good time to learn sidemount. It's not some sort of elite skill. My sidemount training with Steve Martin had people of all levels, from a near beginner to a tec diver. Everybody learned a lot, and not just about sidemounting.

I appreciate these videos. I tried diving the lake back in the 90's, but was too scared. This helps my fears. Btw, are you guys using high powered cave lights?
No, sir, in these videos we were using 2000lumen spots. Flood lights cause too much backscatter, both visually and on video, with the amount of algae in the water. SML was a very fun place to dive, for sure! Thanks for watching! I'm currently work on several more videos (if my work schedule will let me have time to finish them!)

jeremiah moye I use a lot of crank baits, swim baits, chatter baits, and craws.... mostly run white or like a light blue
George F .. I’m using live bait this morning. There’s hundreds of shad where I’m going and they worked real well last weekend. Do you ever you live bait?
