Registrace 9. 09. 2011
Hey there, I'm a full time corporate, part time contract King Air pilot and I would like to share some of my experiences in the air in hopes to inspire, educate, and entertain aviators and non aviators alike. Although I am a CFII-MEI, my videos are primarily edited for entertainment purposes and are not meant to supplement actual training.
I hope you enjoy these videos, and if you have any questions, or video requests, please feel free to reach out and I will do my very best.
All video recorded under pt 91 operations.

Best flight sim setup i've ever seen, so realistic
What iPad mini mount do you use
That’s why if you were flying a big boy jet like a lear jet or a citation X you can get way above the turbulence
I have enjoyed ur video u did a pretty good job with displaying the info on screen mayB u can add speed and roc 2 on screen which would make it excellent !! Thanks for the video and have many more Safe Flights !! ❤❤😊😊
Can someone advise me the name of the departure airport? I want to replicate the fight in my sim.
Kid Rocks airplane at 36:29
2 hours into my private and I loved this video!
The only thing I didn't like about your blended views was the overhead panel. Right wing was good, didn't eliminate anything important. Seems you only did 3 videos, I would like to see more.
Love this video, did you fly full power entire flight
brill video THANK YOU handy for type rating pre prep
What is the app for the check list?
is this the marginal VFR ive been hearing about on the tv? 😁
such a great job is certainly challenging conditions
I was wondering why do you keep takeoff prop rpm for cruise?
I do not mean to be dismissive of your efforts, bu I am just saddened to see Garmin installations in KingAirs. Before being cheapened by a dual Garmin 600 this magnificent airplane probably had a CRT-tube EFIS system with HSI and RMI - a far more worthy and ergonomic package. Ripping that out to put a few Costco portable TVs on your dash is not an upgrade. Now it's true the Collins EFIS systems started to become onerous to maintain, as tubes became more scarce to replace or repair, and they were heavier as well, but a worthy upgrade, if you don't want your KingAir to look like it just came out of the local Cosrco Tire shop, would be either the Collins Pro-Line 21, or Fusion, depending on whether you prefer touchscreens or knobs and buttons. Yeah I know - it costs more, and requires more training to operate proficiently......
Great job on the views, thanks.
you should do a night flight
Hey great videos! Love the way you explain things. Easy to understand. I just purchased a C90B and need transition training of about 50 hours. Not sure if you are available.
iirc there is a CZcams feature to upload multiple videos as different camera angles to one video, allowing viewers to switch between different camera angles. Such as seeing the inside of the aircraft or looking out the front. Rather than splicing together multiple views into a single video.
Did I miss something about the fuel condition levers ???
16:45 Your explanation of the feather checks is very thorough and informative. Thank you very much; that was incredibly useful.
Nice video. Question, are any King Airs pressurized cabins? Not a pilot, just curious. Tnx, Merry Christmas
Why is the windshield view photo shopped?
Are they calling you “Fore Flight”? Thats what it sounds like. Never mind! “45902”. I’m an idiot.
Good video bro
spell check
When more videos?
What does the Smooth Ride Mode do and how does it work?
How in the hell can you see through that😮😮
Do you have any app for your checklist?
Why do people engage the autopilot so much during the flight.
Wipers?? Really?? 8,000 King Air hours and I've only used them on rare occasions... enough speed to keep the windshield clear in all but the worst downpour and they certainly aren't necessary in this situation, wipers are a huge distraction...
I'm a controller myself. I am ashamed to hear these controllers succumb to expectation bias and not actually listen to your callsign the entire time. They expect 92, so they keep hearing 92. The last approach controller finally got it
I didn’t know you can do run ups in a Turboprop. I thought you can only do that in a piston aircraft.
Great video man, loved the explanations, narratives and transcript. Thanks for sharing! 👍
without flap takeoff?
seems kind of dumb for the FBO to be parking and eventually moving a FUEL truck right in front of a plane with its engines on
Nice position of main camera so all can see over the dashboard. Super smooth ride. 👌
Great video mate. Thank you. What app were you using on the iPhone for the checklists?
Taking off in low idle?
As soon as you advance the power levers, the idle position is null. Let me know if you have any questions about when to use each idle position.
@@KingAirGuyTV I thought high idle was also considered flight idle. I guess it's just for high altitude or short fields then.
@@michaelmartin2486 not so much with the 90. I believe the king air 350 has a “flight idle” but I hardly find a reason to ever be flying in high idle in the 90 or 200. Some would argue that when landing you can request reverse faster. This is true, however if you aren’t careful, you’ll end up floating down the runway, thus negating the value of receiving reverse thrust sooner (except now you probably really need it fast! ;) )
Looking for someone to move a C90B from KCOU to KLAL on 8/7. It’s getting finished up with new G1000. Getting new -135’s when they come in in the next couple months. Just had all 4 phases at Stevens
Hi maybe a stupid question but do you can see the nose of the plain during flight? Iam looking for a realistic fov for the king air in mfs flight sim :)
I’m about a month away from having my Commercial Rating and I’ve got an opportunity to fly right in a KA250 and this video really gets me excited about the opportunity!!
Is it ok to refuel while the engines are running?
Which 90 is this and can you give your thoughts on the C90, E, and F. Best value for price?
Hoe do you add the calouts in yr video’s?
It was surprisingly fun to watch you fly. Especially with the pop-ups showing what you were doing.
Why are the engines started with the props feathered? It would seem the drag from the props would make it harder for the starter.
I think I saw you explain the reason later in the video. Should have watched the whole thing first. Good video.
@@pto200 don’t ever try this but you could theoretically sit there and hold the prop with your hand and it would make no difference. Nothing connects the props to the engine.
You're absolutely right. I forgot that is a free shaft turbine. I'm glad you pointed that out.
Hmm, enjoyed the flight....I think the more challenging thing isn't learning to flight, but the pilots ant ATC jargon....There are too many codes and special words to learn!!! In addition, i think it would be very helpful to not only indicate the 500 feet altitude while landing, but also the 100 feet, the 20 feet and the 10 feet.
where did you take off from though
