@@jaylu1997 Hi there! Yes, I ha been found that most of the time, Alaska Airlines tickets are cheaper than the rest. This one-way ticket cost me 114 USD which was excellent for a direct international flight!

In the winter we only get JetBlue with Airbus

I love the A319 !!!💕 When Boeing started getting into serious trouble with it's 737 Max, I had hoped that the A319 would become more popular. I'm still holding out hope that will see an explosion in orders. She's a tiny plane but she sure can roar on take-off !!!😅✈️

Some places like Houston actually has heavier traffic during the summer with Southwest and United adding additional flights

@@aviation_belize Absolutely! Weekends during the summer see 3 United flights from Houston, which I believe is to sort of make up for other United routes to Belize that have either no offering or rare once a week offerings during this period (ORD and EWR for example). Not to mention the daily Southwest flight from HOU!

@@infotecworld They are definitely on-time and honestly my experience with other airlines regarding that metric is quite the same. I don’t think it’s worth paying a massive difference with Delta.

@@BelizeanOnBoard Give me an idea of massive. Are we talking $150 on a econ seat for a 3hr flight? If so, I'm paying. Now if its $300+ I agree, not worth it. I've been to over 40 countries and flew 20 plus airlines.

@@infotecworld Definitely! My upcoming trip to Belize saw a difference of over $600 between American/United and Delta… usually the difference is around $150-$200 as you mentioned which I personally still don’t believe is worth it.

As far as I remember, the window was aligned, but there is no floor space as this is a bulkhead row.

I say unfortunately because it’s very rare these days to board open air and it enhances the experience in my opinion. I understand the argument of weather conditions but we’ve been managing it alright so far!

@BelizeanOnBoard I'm actually a belizean as well living in the cayman islands and I work at the airport here and we have open air boarding and trust me it can be quite inconvenient especially with the rainy season. Lots of delays etc.

@jamiemontero6478 I definitely understand.. I myself have experienced a delay due to heavy rain but it has never been so severe- in fact I’ve been a part of heavier delays by weather conditions in the United States than in Belize!

@BelizeanOnBoard here in cayman the delays are hours especially when it rains and you having lightning and thunder ⛈️.

Sorry to hear about your poor experience

For night flights, usually the turbulence I’ve experienced is during the climb. As this flight was mostly on the coast there were a couple bumps along the way!

Yes there was inflight service but I only filmed the departure of my flight. I have made a Belize to Houston trip report which you can find on my channel uploaded last year!

This flight was to Houston Intercontinental (IAH)

Depending on the day of the week and also the time of day, you can expect the process to be between 30 minutes on a good day (for tourists) up to over an hour for a crowded day. Transfers to tropical air are right next door to the arrivals hall after you pass through customs and immigration!

Flights are usually pretty smooth with the occasional bumps here and there

I have seen some criticism over American Airlines’ Business Class. I was glad to have had the experience and I do hope to see the difference among other US Airlines and their business class!

I personally like Delta compared to other US carriers, except their fares have always been more expensive and getting a good deal is considered lucky. I have gotten unlucky a couple times with a dirty window but you don’t know until you sit down!

US carriers make up the majority of traffic in Belize and is most convenient for most of our traveling population. Hoping to fly Central American carriers in the future to compare experiences!
