Yeah this is an extremely risky venture and for it to work out you need money to begin with commitment to something that is very likely doomed to fail and spend all of too much time and effort trying to barely scrap your way up to have it ever be worth it in the long run

You put your money in stocks all Willy nilly you're going to lose it all. Better off index funds or even a high yields savings account. Down payment on real estate is a better idea

Gold and silver, let’s be real. We’re witnessing real time devaluation of fiat currency in at least 2 countries - Canada and US, but surely more. Investing or shuttling money into funds or vehicles where it removes the physical custody of the asset from your hands no longer remains your asset. If you don’t hold it, you don’t own it.

Stocks are ETFs. Also don’t tell newbies to pick stocks that is terrible advice.
