I'm a judo guy and love take downs. So what. Some people don't like take downs and sitting, with contact, is part of the rules. If that purple belt were my student (I"m a BJJ black belt), I'd have kicked him out of my school. If you don't like the rules, find a take down only tournament.

The attitude of the adult has nothing to do with the age of his opponent. He's just fed up with people sitting down immediately at the begging of the match to buttscoot without even engaging. This is what makes bjj such a meme, otherwise being a very effective martial art. Pity that the ruleset still allows that.
