Tert-butyllithium (1.6M in pentane solution) is a pyrophoric liquid used in organic synthesis. It is highly flammable in air, so I added it to liquid oxygen! :D

You should do some unusual metallic compounds that involved tellurium I was doing some mineral hunting and did some panning from a stream and came up with this unusual silvery mineral. I'd exhausted my guess is as to what it was and somebody online suggested I put it in sulfuric acid and see if it changes color or emits a smell and it did both. Gold telluride.

You may not like it, but I don't think any of them have solubility other than iodine. I think it's more of a faint yellow chlorine impurity where all three elements are halogenated in the presence of the solvent to form low-valent chloride. The heat released also forced the formation of a red selenium solution, and the solvent color became orange.

Also I wonder what can of protective equipement did you use, were you wearing a full hazmat suit? At last, a suggestion about future experiment: xenon compounds. I think almost no one has seen these, they are all produced starting from xenon fluoride, and you are the only one dealing with fluorine compounds...
I only had a good fume hood and open windows in the lab. In fact it's very difficult to get carbon monoxide poisoning in such a situation. I also had a carbon monoxide leak alarm but it never even beeped :\ Xenon chemistry is very expensive, I don’t want to spend so much money yet with such a number of views on my videos. Nitrous Oxide freezes well below the boiling point of Liquid Oxygen. You may get a combination of thrusts if you soak the filters in N2O and then freeze/soak them in LOX. The filters light and burn in the LOX, and at those temperatures, but it seems to be ejecting most of the liquid before it takes off. If the filter burns with the LOX, which melts and evaporates the N2O, then that may add thrust, as well as have some frozen/solid oxidizer remaining after ignition. Seems like it could be interesting.
