laser cutter testing
zhlédnutí 22Před rokem
No more buying expensive gaskets for the old bikes! Video is testing the unit on copy paper to get the hang of it. Tried the gasket shown on 0.75mm gasket material, took a bit longer to do but it cut no problems.
70+yo Smiths speedo
zhlédnutí 298Před rokem
Interesting clockwork mechanism inside a 70yo Smiths motorcycle speedo. Just needed a light clean and some grease to get it working again. The dial is fine but a row of digits on the odometers have been burnt from too many years in the Australian sun.
Vapor blaster part 2
zhlédnutí 24Před rokem
Front is on, gloves are in, lighting is working, hopefully lifting it onto its stand tomorrow. Then testing begins! Once tested the timber glove clamps will get some varnish and the gloves trimmed back.
DIY vapor blaster part 1
zhlédnutí 36Před rokem
This project came about as no-one locally can wet bead blast motorcycle components and I have three bike projects on the go that need this process to properly clean up parts. I'm about two weeks into this build and have the frame as well as the sliding parts tray completed. The angled drainage floor will be completed next then the cladding. From there the gloves go in as well as the glass and l...
Honda 750/4 final result
zhlédnutí 179Před rokem
So some 6 months ago a friend of a friend cold called me and asked if I would like to build a bike for him! Turned out a mutual friend had recommended me to him! Well thoughts and conversations became agreements and I agreed to build his 1972 Honda 750/4 in exchange for a 1975 650 Yamaha that was mostly in boxes! This very short video shows the end result of the Honda build. It started as a pai...
CB750

1972 CB750 oil purge. I'm using and old cam chain tension wheel bolted to a battery drill to rotate the oil pump and prime the oil system.
Short XS650 ride
zhlédnutí 60Před 2 lety
Short ride on John's XS650 after sorting some teething issues. Some carby cleaning as well as points and timing adjustments have resulted in a fine running XS650.
Yamaha XS650 crank disassembly
zhlédnutí 424Před 2 lety
Just for Stu, quick and dirty disassembly of a Yamaha twin cylinder crank. My press is 20t but I'm only using a bout a third of its capacity.

トリップメーター動いてませんね
The trip meter is the closest in shot, the other one is the odometer
@@Peter57808I made a mistake. The odometer is not working. My meter has the same symptoms.

Front brakes were an issue on this ride. Have sorted them now.

Followed from Dangar Stu's site

Nice race from zander
Do you know anything about the MC2 rear wiring?
Sorry no I have not. It appears to be pretty straight forward, instructions on the link below www.mpsracing.com/instructions/MSD/MC2.pdf
The bike has only ever run the MC-4!
@@Peter57808 I checked many sites, including that one, but none show the 2 connectors that come out of the opposite side of the main wiring.
It came with the bike when I purchased it off a local racer. He ran it with Nos in a 1428cc block and it didn't miss a beat so I don't think you will have any spark issues. As run I had the MSD, crank trigger, 4 coils and the shift light/two step unit. You will need to download the app as everything is set via a laptop connected via a serial link to the MSD.
I don't think I can help on this, have you contacted MSD for info?@@sc2dave1
Sorry for not getting back here sooner, will do a clip showing the stands construction
I would love to see that video. Waiting eagerly
ey man can you show ous how did you made please
And ?
Yes max hold,.... little effort ...how you do it
Any instructions please? Thanks
I'm glad that nothing happend that could have been ended pretty bad
No, but when I get over my current heath issues (cardiac problems, might be something to do with riding a GSXR1000 :-)) ) I will put together a vid of the two sections showing how its made
Is there an instructional build thread somewhere? Thanks
Great vid. of your rear bike tire.
Why would u use the same rx if it "zone out" on ur maiden?
will put together a walk around vid to show the construction as I built it without any plans or blueprints
would have to echo earzcd sentiments, nice work but any chance you could upload a blueprint?
