I feel like we're straddling between the 7 year itch stage and the acceptance stage. We know that we can't expect each other to provide ALL of our needs. So we have friends or hobbies that allows us to be in our creative space, or athletic-competitive space. And we accept who the other is (whether we like it or not) without complaint.

What you may not know is that I’ve shed tears…at least one tear everyday. I talked to her everyday even if I were home. And if I were late on calling, she called me fussing that I was late in calling her. 😂…. I’m really glad you both have each other making it through this grieving process. That’s the epitome of love when your spouse may not have anything to say…but the blessing of presence carries you through. This is a hard journey one like I’ve never experienced before. The fact that you have Niecy there is one thing I don’t have to worry about…I know she is there and I’m grateful and love you both! ❤️❤️

One of m sergeants told me was it's ok to cry but you don't do it in public in front of people there is a time and place and I think it's true. You have to set an example and you can't be breaking down when you have to get shit done but you also don't bottle it up but there is a time and place for it.

I appreciate that you two looked at both sides. It really does depend on the heart and state of the marriage. I also think that last point about not going on social media when in the heat of conflict is a GREAT practical way to love and protect each other in marriage.
