Good truck

An extremely rare mid 60s Ford one ton dually 4 x 4. Not sure of production numbers but my guess would be number in only in the hundreds, maybe less. And then when one considers that this is one of probably only a handful still surviving. Truck has been redone and repainted at some time. To the right person this truck is easily worth tens of thousands of dollars. This is quite honestly one of the rarest vehicles in North America at this time IF it is factory original and not someone's masterful creation.

Has to be an early sixties truck. Radio gave it away. I had a '59 F350 way the heck back then. I have a '69 on the injured/reserved list as a backup work truck.

That's not a 390. Looks to be a 385 series Big Block. Either a 429 or 460 . Great engines cool truck

Nice truck but not a Highboy! Highboys were built from 67 - 77.5 known as the (bumpside) and ended in the (dentside) 73-79 .This is a 66. They also were all F250s with three drive shafts and a divorced transfer case. Thanks for sharing this beautiful truck.

So what you're looking at is a 1929 or 30 ish MODEL A sedan, which would have been a four-door, that's where those extra windows come from behind the door, that they shortened the cab into a pickup cab, And it looks like it's a maybe 34 or 35 pickup bed, small block Chevy with a small supercharger.

My uncle had a Ford truck like that. Early 69s. I remember riding in it. When we were going 50, it felt like 110.

I am a Fotd guy. Been driving/maintainibg my '65 F100 going on 43 yrs. Sure lots of effort went into the '59...the truck now can not be driven on the rd without possibly damaging it. Pot holes, etc.

I will paint that sucker get that engine running transmission go over everything race it up and it'll be good to go probably could triple your money if you do real good paint job and keep all the stuff that are on it even the skeleton hands

The smaller set of heads are from an 855 Cummins small cam (14 liter) and the 2 larger heads are from CAT 3406E (15 liter), both are for semi trucks and are great bed weights, i use 4 of the 855 cummins heads in my truck bed for winter, around 100lbs a piece. Fun fact an 855 uses 3 separate heads for 1 inline 6 making rebuilding the engine in the truck while on the road possible for an experience (or really pissed off) driver, if a cylinder goes down you can pull that head and replace that piston and liner and be back on the road in less than a day, truly one of the greatest engines ever built

No it's not for flames. Chase the line back and it's just where they run the breather vents from the valve covers and no those heads weren't from this truck. first you said the 390 emblem earlier wjich would be original engine i doubt its there now. next those are diesel heads probably a semi or tractor.

My least favorite body style but I'd drive the 💩 out of that one

it is a 4 wheel drive truck. not a front axle drive...know what you are talking about before wasting everyone's time.
