Hey, thanks for watching and commenting even non-GoW :) Yeah, it looks and plays great, at least at casual level as far as i can say. And Homelander is also fun here, plays uniquely (and kinda hard), they portrayed this narcissistic asshole very well, love his arrogant taunts 😅

Yeah it's awesome, and the quality of it is definitely playing a huge role. My personal favourite version is this (czcams.com/video/8WdGYMS6OPc/video.htmlsi=0GM9LzjEt9qSUlkv), but sadly it didn't aged well. And the newest Valhalla version is good too, but it's not that aggressive and powerful (understandable why), so the best is still remains Ascension's.

Its also cool because that's the InGame Version rather than the album version therefor it plays louder and the inception horn cues in much louder and progressive to compliant the overall sound. Which to me is crazy because that's the first GOW and it still stands up as a arguable number 1. But I agree, Ascension did the absolute best at depicting pure power and emotional chaos in each one of their soundtracks.

It's okay, bro, you can make it, don't be ashamed to try it on the lowest difficulty, we all have different limits and available time to practice, and that's okay, that's why there is so many difficulty options. If you still struggling though even there, try to read some in-game hints about enemies and combat mechanics, or watch some tutorials and combo vids, there's plenty to learn and make the game easy for yourself 😉

Hey, nice to see an old fan. I was watching my older brother playing the very first GoW i think back in 2006 before i dare to play it myself (it looked too dark, too adult and even kinda scary for me, but that is what attracted me as well). I think it was my first "big and serious" game experience, or maybe somewhere near that.

Они отлично постарались с этим DLC, скин топовый, арена "Форум" вообще до мельчайших подробностей сделана, будто ассеты прямиком из тройки перенесены (а может так и есть).

Music is often underestimated, it's very important. I'm not sure if it can make a bad game good, but it can make a mid or a good game absolutely phenomenal and memorable, at least for your first playthrough (Not talking about anything specific here).

Honestly i liked the most you didn't mentioned - Desert of Lost Souls :) This level was always special for me, the idea of a big opened place in a game like this, and you need to wander there, where you can't see anything, trying to find Sirens by their singing - it blew my mind away back in PS2 days. Such a cool level, it was great to see a glimpse of it in a new game.

But i like that shield and its animations 😢 (And i like it even more in Ragnarök with all the options)

@@CoolSaver i prefer that shield when he's using leviathan axe But when in blade of chaos, i prefer classic guard animation

@@williamwen3477 hmm, different block stances with different weapons, sounds fun. Although i'm not sure if it makes a lot of sense to use your Blades as a shield when you have a literal shield though, especially this easy-to-use shield that's like a continuation of your arm, if you know what i'm trying to say. Maybe if they can find a good reasoning for this, they can bring it back. I mean, they can get rid of it entirely and he will start using his weapons to guard again, who knows, we'll see i guess.

Really, many thanks ❤️ Your comments always makes me smile, thank you for sharing your thoughts, such a positive feedback means a lot :) About 11:25, are you talking about how they call their weapons and hit each other simultaneously? If so, that was entirely intentional unlike many other cool combat moments lol. I wanted to highlight the similarities in their weapons, and doing such mirroring i think did it's job, and also it wasn't really hard to make, as Thor is scripted to do this attack in the beginning of the phase (of course i needed to restart a lot, but the fight is segmented, so it wasn't that bad).

​@@CoolSaver Yeah even in your ragnarok war video there were plenty of moments like that, you manage to make the synchronization between the impacts/strikes and the music pretty cinematic. Oh yea I clapped when you did the og death screen throwback very good stuff. Btw, if you don't mind some very small criticism, in some cutscenes or when dialogue is spoken the music gets a tad little bit too loud and kinda drowns out the words a bit. Other than that, just solid work brother.

@@Robdrummerkid yeah i see, i already replied about volume to one of the comments, i think i made a bid on epicness too much, but personally i can recognise the problem only in the last phase (so it'll be great if you can point on specific cutscenes with this problem, because you already the second person telling that, but for me balance in the cutscenes is alright, so i want to know which balance you prefer, where do you think it needs tuning), Thor just kinda starts to shout his phrases a bit quietly (music level was the same as before), i noticed it and made some of the important ones louder, but maybe i needed to crank it all up. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out, i'll keep it in mind for the next vids.

Thank you, bro! Yeah, all the damage taken was intentional for more lore-accurate fight. I even tried to show Kratos' abilities to quickly learn his opponent, as he deals with Thor's moves more and more effectiently as the fight goes. It was a lot of fun to make it, glad you liked it :) Any music peaces catched your ear? I mean, you probably heard some of them for the first time, got anything especially noteworthy to your taste?

@@CoolSaver It was all good man. I just felt a couple of times that the volume was a bit high overlaying the dialogues. But it is fine.

@@xerx777 lmao, i was tweaking the volume up and down so many times, trying to make it loud but at the same time not too loud, kinda funny i still made it too loud 😂 But also i think i just got used to overly loud music, because the first thing i do when i start any new game is toggle the music volume up.
