I really like the final picture, before you added the line work. I thought the colours went well together and the reflections worked. The line work changed the image, but perhaps adding deeper shading to some areas may bring it back to something you would prefer.

Just a thought on understanding perspective. I have found that placing tracing paper on top of an image I want to draw and then drawing around that image is very instructive. I then look at the tracing paper drawing and think about what I think I'm seeing and what is actually happening in the image. I find it very instructive, although my brain still wants to draw things differently to what is actually happening.

I watched your sketchbook reveal first and then decided to watch your videos in order so started with the first one, this one. I find it fascinating to see how you have changed what you actually want to achieve in your pictures. It will be interesting to see how each video you produce shows which decisions you make to grow as an artist.

I like the way you have mixed fully painted objects with pencil drawn ones. Perhaps you could try other drawing materials to see how you like them in a finished picture with the watercolour elements. I can see why you like adding splatter to your pictures and in some it really adds to the pictures, but if you don't experiment you won't discover which you like and why you like it.

I really enjoyed this sketchbook tour. You are very good at drawing buildings. And the cat and the dog look great too.. It makes me wonder what country this is, in your drawings. Have you considered to maybe try a different medium, like colored pencils, for those special drawings you are very proud of so that cauliflowering doesn't mess it up? Although I really don't think it looks bad but I understand it makes you upset. Sometimes I don't like how my art turns out either. Or little flaws I notice easily but other people don't see them. Sometimes I use a white Gelly Roll 08 pen to cover up little mistakes. Great that you finished a sketchbook! I am 33 pages into mine.
