Hey bud, you tie some very nice flies! Get rid of the hip hop music in the background. May be your thing, but people do not want to hear it. They want to hear you talk to them as you tie your fly. Actually, the music is pretty annoying talk to and let the people know what you were doing. Tell them what you caught on these flies, where, what weight, what colors, etc. and I think you would do a lot better I don’t know anything I’m just an experienced charterboat captain with 35 years under my belt Thank you

Hello . Im planning a trip to stay at my in-laws place in coco beach. I’m a serious fly fisherman from BC I have experience with all my local species. I’m just wondering if shore fishing can be decent in January/ February. And what kind of gear I need? I have a many rods 7wt single hand ,a 7wt Switch and a 9wt full Spey, do you think that’ll do or should I get a heavier single hand ?

What diameter mono do you use to make weed guards? For example, what would you use for a Size 6 streamer vs 1/0 saltwater fly to bounce off coral in Hawaii?

Jesse, I realize it’s a load of work, but please make a longer video - something with some fly fishing action that you know is a bit crazy and set into a nice peaceful glide of a video. Quick views of some family stuff, tying the fly, preparing the boat and equipment, some of the ride to destination, launch, motoring out, fly selection and knot tying, then sighting the quarry, the cast, the hook up, the landing, the photo op, the camaraderie and so on… Some nice music to emphasize the moments shared with your viewers setting the mood and tempo that whisks us away and along for the ride. I’m staying tuned. And why do my hands smell like fish?…

We fished last March and the Machuka “dry fly” fishing was amazing. Loved it, very unique but they fight hard. Love the howlers creating the hatch for us
