Just how do these beef eating city people think their beef get vaccinated and wormed? How do the bull calves get castrated? I've seen calves twist turn their heads over 180* to get at a fly. I've seen calves get kicked in the head by other calves and over protective mothers. I will take range raised cattle who are born in freezing or rainy weather (and survive just fine), inoculated and castrated right out in the pasture where they are grass fed, and free to move about as a herd over any feedlot or barn raised beef ANY DAY! And yes, sometimes they get roped, ear tagged, and even branded. Those calves get right back up and take off playing the second they're let go. KNOW ABOUT WHAT YOU SPEAK OF BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH ! We still need Cowboys!!!! They're real men who know how to put food on their families table no matter what Mother Nature throws at them. You just know how to drive your Volvo to Walmart.
