Welcome to BDACHTisALPHA. I would like to take this time to thank everyone for checking out my channel. I started this channel for a simple reason. When I started my beard journey, I had very few outlets for information regarding beard products and it was frustrating to say the least. So I wanted to help those that came to this platform for answers. When it came to beard oils , beard balm, beard wash and conditioners, what’s what? How does certain products work? What’s the scent? How well does it condition for coarse hair or non coarse hair. I wanted reviews that would save me in the long run from blind buying. I wasted so much money buying products I didn’t like because I had no reviews to go by.
Also let’s not forget the alpha lifestyle in general. Being confident and outgoing in everything you do in life. I will also touch on fitness, health , grooming and being competitive. Competition has always been a big part of my life and being confident.

It's weird how nobody who uses this tool ever trims the back of their necks, the only part of a DIY haircut that is even difficult. I asked the company if there is a guide that will fit a neck, they seem clueless as well and can't answer the question.
Yeah it’s just a freestyle for me. Once you establish where you want that line to be, just follow that guideline. For me, it’s difficult enough to line that area up, would be even more difficult to use the stencil. So for me the cheekline part is best for the tool to establish line. Now I just use the pencil only after knowing my beard. Cheers 🍻
@@BDACHTisALPHA Should be easier to use a stencil. I'm getting a plastic ruler and wrapping it to my neck, then shaving up to the ruler. That oughta do it for me. My problem is I can't see well enough to use two mirrors.
@@Josef_R yeah doing your own lineups especially that area is definitely trial and error. I usually just guess or just hover by the ear. As long as it’s no hair there I’m fine. Never want my ear line to be pushed in.

It’s definitely ideal to use a good beard wash minimum 2 times a week. Also use a quality beard oil daily. That will prevent the itch.

Make sure to use the brush to really get into the beard. With the grain and against the grain. Hope this helps.

Love your work. I can say my beard is a direct result of your instructions on this channel. Need your help. Want to get that smooth bald head so I got a cordless Wahl detailer . It does a good job but I find myself breaking out the disposable razors to get to what I want. Any recommendations on maybe a head shaver or anything else that will get me that look? I normally just use the Andis trimmer. Rarely completely bald. But when I want a bald head I usually use the cut buddy electric razor or disposable.

How often do you trim your flyaways and how often do you lineup your beard bro?
What’s up bro. My routine changes a lot. This video is 5 years ago. So my routine isn’t the same importance as back then. I’ve dialed in trimming the beard, flyaways etc maybe twice a month or so. I line up the cheekline maybe once a week, depending on what I have going on.

Why not just get a decent single edge razor like the leaf twig or thorn and a pack of razors for it. A pack of razors would last you ages. Over a year probably, cause you break them in half for a single edge. Would work out stupidly cheap. These things you have to get replacement heads?

Hoping u see this in time (and reply) looking for a fathers day gift for my kids dad and someone stope his clippers. He has a coarse beard like yours and ive gathered from your videos already that your favorite is andis masters but u say u like the slim line pro as well lol. We travel a ton im just looking for ur opinion on what would be a good one to get for fathers day. Like if someone could get you only ONE set of clippers which would u choose? Andis master is a great choice for fading and overall training of head hair and beard. I use the slim line pro for detailing. Beard lineups, precision etc. Slim line pro comes with guard attachments, but I don’t use them for fading etc, but perfect for traveling. There are plenty of tips and advice for how to cut and shape a beard but how about someone make a video about how to grow a beard? Please bear with me as I explain, I have facial hair but it doesn't fully grow out or into a full beard like it should. So my question is, is there a product for men that helps grow the beard fully or atleast enough it connects to the goatee?
People have used minoxidil to help grow a beard. Plenty of videos on it. I personally never tried it, and don’t believe in “beard growth products”. You have to have hair follicles in place to grow a beard the way you want it. For me I was well into my 30s before I had the option to grow a beard. I’m a firm believer in genetics as well. Check out some of my earlier videos when I cut my beard off and regrew it. You will see I’ve had hair follicles in place.

I use Evan Alexander products and Just For Men Jet Black for Mustache & Beard. I’m thinking about trying the product especially since seeing this Black Man demonstrating how he uses it. One thing though-I learned it’s better to use a wood pick, as opposed to using that steel one.
No doubt. Thanks for watching. I’ve used wood combs/picks in the past. Metal or plastic works for me as well. I just take my time during the process. This hair coloring works great. Super convenient as well 2 in 1. No mixing needed.
The original attachement on the lowest setting makes shaving your balls super comfortable too btw. And no, you don't need to disinfect anything unless you have a fungal infection or some shit. Americans need to stop their germophobia, it's annoying.

Brio beardscape, but any clipper/trimmer will work. Just want to get the hair lower before shaving.
