This July was a yellowfin tuna bonanza! Our crews consistently discovered numerous schools of yellowfin tuna, offering anglers ample opportunities to hook and land these giants using live bait, trolling lures, or topwater lures. While yellowfin tuna typically weigh between 20 and 150 lbs, we saw some true behemoths this month. The highlight? A massive 180 lb yellowfin tuna caught by the Wheatland family from Texas, who achieved their goal of reeling in a giant yellowfin with the expert guidance of our captains.
