Literally hardly any of these cars are sn95 mustangs. Most are new edge.

this guy was an absolute MONSTER in high school. an option QB and strong safety that did whatever he wanted on the field. I played against him twice and I'm very proud to say I tackled him a few times

why are you calling the new edge body cars sn95? sn95 body is 94-98 only.

Nope the sn95 went through a face lift in 1999 along with cylinder head change.

There are so many different SN95s... But just talking basic GT they had 2 different motors.. the 5.0 from 94-95 then the Modular 4.6 from 96-98 but then in 99 they were changed some. Beefed up. Much faster than a pre 99 Mod. I don't know ..point is.. When people refer to SN95 they refer to 94-98.. Though technically its all the way to 04.. I consider the 99-04 to be "New Edge" and when I refer to an SN95 I say either 5 oh SN95 or Modular SN95.. it just makes it easier for everyone.

99-04 are the 2nd generation of the sn95's.....sooo...they kida are sn95's :)

been a hot rod fan every since the day my dad did a donut in a 69 GTO, wich is known as "The Goat". now i do donuts in a 89 Foxbody" wich i call "The Fox"! R.I.P DAD!

That type of snowballing of outdated chassis went on at all 3 american manufactures. In all that time of making small tweaks and keeping antiquated tech its no wonder why it was more cost effective to start with a clean slate ,close factories rather than retool.The factorys themselves were antiquated. Now all thats changed Thankfully! but the aftermath of such backwards ideals in production led to detroits great fall. You must evolve with the times, or your product will be antiquated.

99-2004 was little more than a reskin, engine and interior tweek of the 94-98 model years, They are sn95 chassis's. Ford wanted the mustang to maintain some synergy with its fleet. Funny enough the New Edge was great for aftermarket mustang designs. The crazy thing is the fact the sn95 chassis was a modified fox chassis which was initially developed for the 1978 Ford Fairmont and Mercury Zephyr. So the chassis wasnt truly all new for over 3 decades!!

I have a '93 foxbody, they are sweet ass cars. Actually just dropped in a 5.0 board .030 pistons with a holly carb. Haven't hit a dyno or drag yet so i'm not sure of it's true hp or 1/4 mile time lol. but i can say that racing those rice burners (Honda's, Toyota's, etc.) that without having turbo's or some spray they don't stand a chance =]

This is a great video! Makes me proud to own 2 Mustangs. I also like seeing that a lot of other people find the simplistic look of the '99 Cobra Nice too. I feel like that year Cobra is often forgotten and over shadowed by the bad ass Terminator. Any way great vid, Mustang guy forever!

Up here in the Northeast US (NY/NJ) 5.0 coupes were/are RARE. You hardly ever saw one. It was the GT/LX hatchback that you saw EVERYWHERE.
