I've got a 2020 with the turnouts. After seeing this, I'm doing the cat delete. Thanks!
Love that pan tail light and rear mudguard! Any recommendations to replicate that setup? I can’t find any rear mudguard options on your site to pair with the plug and play pan tail light kit. Tia
Super cool. Understated but has a lot of small details. Cant wait to get my T120 this fall.
Glad you like it! All the small details count.
You can achieve this sound with a coke can and a bmx bike. IYKYK

Lowering the speedometer is a game changer.😉😆🤗😘
night and day! that thing sticks up quite a bit ha.
So, the seat only has one flanged sleeve on the right side of the bike? lol I thought I lost one. That's a relief.
Sounds like a thumper. Way better than stock.
Night and day!
Are they allowed in germany ?
Unfortunately these aren’t tested and rated for European standards so we cannot confirm
Are they allowed in germany?
Sorry, but that sounds like a scooter. You’ve ruined it🙁
If you think this sounds like a scooter, you should hear the stock.
Is this with an X pipe installed?
The 2-1 system completely bypasses the cat or X-Pipe so it's straight from the head to the pipes.
Any Idea when you'll have a cafe bar that works with the 22 speed twin?
How strong are these handlebars compared to the aluminum one's? know that in an event of a fall bending the bars is sometimes inevitable especially if they are steel ones but what I would be worried about is to put a dent on the tank because the bars bends inwards towards the tank, I saw one had this problem with the stock street twin bars.
These bars are actually quite strong. After some drops on dirt, or street/freeway (at high speed, unfortunately), we don’t think we’ve seen them bend. We’re not saying it’s impossible but they’re pretty strong.
This video really helped me a lot. You must have changed the exhaust several times for the video, thank you so much.
We did! Ha thanks for noticing. Glad it helped
im waiting for the 24s to restock!!! when???
Hope you guys can answer, but will this fit a 2024 Triumph Scrambler 900? Thank you!
yes it will fit the 2024 Street Scrambler 900 britishcustoms.com/products/2-1-low-gp-carbon-for-triumph-street-scrambler
I was just a kid.. . . we went to Holiday off highway 138/190th street, and Eddie was doing the half-mile, on a triumph 650, in the alfalfa fields. My God! He was amazing. We were kids, and had Mini-enduros, Eddie had a Silver van, with a black stripe. He made fun of me! He said: if you could tie your lip to your throttle cable, you'd have half a chance! (he was right) Amazing rider. This man rode a triumph 650 over the sand bumps, and later, we had Husqvarna's (nice bikes) and Eddie Mulder smoked us, on his 400lb triumph. My god! ! Amazing rider! The best of the best.. . .
Thanks so much for this video. Just installed 6" apes on my bobber and followed your video to a T! Super helpful. Saved me a trip to the dealership!
Glad it helped!
Wow!! Love it
Thank you! Cheers!
Is the CAT welded to the header or just the mid pipe on the 23 speed twin?
It’s only the mid pipes that are welded
Great video, great instruction!
Glad it was helpful!
Good build and good walk around, straight talking
Thanks!
Are these numbers roughly what you might expect with the drag performance tips on an earlier (2019) Street Twin?
With stock engine configuration, yes it will virtually be the same
i want to install some straight through pipes (Arrow)on my Truxton but my mechanic doesn't recommend as it cause the engine to run hot. is this really a problem?
It'll run hot from being lean, and it won't run as smoothly throughout the powerband when comparing against pipes that are baffled. One big reason why the mechanic may not recommend it is because the risk of damage to the engine specifically with the valves/seats burning up.
Do you recommend installing the slash cut exhausts with a decat?
Some people love it and some people hate it, it’s a very loud set up so it’s all preference
@@britishcustoms does the slash cut come with optional db killers?
This is excellent. Same bike I have. Now I can dive in and neaten up things without doing a fender elimination which I really do not want to do. Thanks. Does anyone know if the reflectors on the side and below the number plate holder can be unfastened and removed? If so, I may do that, and replace the stock indicators with something smaller and call it good. I'm not yet sure I want to remove the stock rear fender in favor of a fender elimination kit. EDIT - Answer my own question: If you are retaining the triumph fender, rear light, and plate bracket, you can remove the side reflectors and the round reflector that drops below the plate quite easily. That alone minimizes the gargantuan look of the stock set up on the new Bonnevilles.
Thanks for that...just put mine on your way without prob...start up soon!
Nice! Wipe it down with some alcohol before firing up and have fun!
I'd probably put some blue Loctite on the tail light screws, since you can't tighten them too much. Still haven't decided what I'm going to do with the tail of my '22 Street Scrambler, but this is one of my top choices.
Can never go wrong with some blue loctite!
Hi there! great channel, I have a bonni t120 2016 is there any option to change the gauge in single one on this model?
At the moment, we do not have that option nor have seen a bolt-on option. Anything is possible but working with CANBUS and having to be model/year specific on these gauges can be tricky. Motogadget usually has solutions to this so we'll see with some time!
@@britishcustoms thanks for the mega fastest reply!! Actually i have a problem with my bonny t120 2016, i posted 2 videos on my channel, there is some issues with the electronic, today the service from my village just call me that he wasn’t able to find what is the problem with the fuse for the indicators clock alarm etc…. Actually the fuse was blown and obviously the indicators wasn’t working so i put a new fuse then the ignition went on with out the key inside (funny miracle) the indicators start working but then i try to start the motor but it couldn’t start. Then i removed the fuse and i start the motor without the fuse and i put the fuse back, everything went fine but when i try to turn off the motor with the key i couldn’t, he keep working without the key inside…. I have posted 2 videos on YT i you can take a look and share any tips i would be thankful. Btw i already made appointment in triumph service but i need to wait 2-3 weeks. Btw the service in my village think that the problem could be in the ignition that’s why i would like to know if there is option to put single gauge! Sorry for the long comment.
Electrical problems are the worst! We get it! (especially weird with stock lights) but it can usually happen with broken wires and especially since the flasher is built into speedo, I'd check for the wires in that area or near headtube to see if you see any pinched/chewed/mangled wire(s). Otherwise, it can be numerous things: short in the lights, faulty speedo, faulty ignition up to ECU, ground issue. I hope the dealer figures it out!
@@britishcustoms thank you, i brought it today in the Triumph Service so when the problem is solved i would let you know, maybe we can help to someone else to save extra cost. ✌️
I’m in love. Awesome build.
Thanks!
Really like the updates . Is that a 21” front on the scrambler ?
Thanks! And yes, 21” custom wheel by Dubya

To be honest... they all sound nearly the same. muted and gutless! Some of them look good until you turn it on...
Sound clips will never fully represent the visceral sound of an exhaust over speakers but they are definitely different (and doesn't sound like open headers like an air compressor). What are you riding and using for exhausts where we'd assume it has "rawness and has body"?
My last bike was a zx6r with a full arrow system decat.
Where you get the rear fender
Nice wheels set....what size are those?
They’re the stock wheels, 18x17 👍
Does the ABS bleed function need to be used ?
Yes, it is required to run the ABS bleed function - this will need to be done at a dealer.
Will this fit the 2024 model?
This version will not as there was a change in header design after 2018 but here is the Slash Cut Performance Tips that will fit your 2024 T100/T120: britishcustoms.com/products/copy-of-slash-cut-performance-tips-for-bonneville-t100-t120
I have bought a fair amount of after market products for my triumph and this is hands down the best how to video on how to install the parts
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback.
If I get these tips. Will the kit come with those spacers? Or will that be a separate kit?
Comes with everything you need to install! no missing components where it'd prevent you from installing.
Enjoyed this, when my bike arrives I will rewatch for some of these mods. I would like to see a cover cap to cover where the rear indicators were removed, without a cover it just looks like something is missing. Surely someone has thought of this and made one or should I rush to the patent office ????? 🤔
Is that slash cut with a x-pipe installed too?
Just installed mine, 2023 Speed Twin 1200, super quick. Tips slid on with ease unlike what some other comments suggest, could be an improvement on the production side. They look and sound great!
Thanks for the feedback! We've tested on three different year models and we've found that the QC on the OEM headers are a little off on each of the years, where they're not perfectly round. With those 3 measurements, we've averaged it out for gauging so your feedback really helps!
I want black but can’t find anywhere
You will have to get them cerakoted. Shoot us an email at support@british-customs.com for more information on this.
very cool thorough vid...shame it takes that much effort just to change pipes...not like the older bikes....but the sound improvement i suppose made it worth it
Unfortunately it takes a ton of work to change out the headers, or even the handlebars (because of the ABS) on this bike but it's definitely worth it! It's one of those "one and done" situations.
I'm working on reproducing this build but I don't seems to find that exact bar on the website...also would the stock cables make it or is it necessary to extend those I was also thinking to upsize the front wheel, is that one stock size? Thanks guys, you are the best.
Cool! These are our Tapered bars which aren’t on the website but we may have a few ready. Stock sizing on both wheels! Give us a ring at 877-999-2748 and we can talk more about the build and details around it.
Hey! I have a question that you may be able to help with. I was replacing my headlight "ears" (brackets) without raising the front wheel and frame. This lead to the shock "sliding into itself" and now I am wondering what I can do to get it back out. Will supporting it allow me to pull it back up? Let me know here. Thanks!
Might need a few more photos/details on the shock sliding into itself. Shoot us an email with details at support@british-customs.com. Is this for our Headlight Ears?
I bought the slash cut tip for my Triumph Street Twin and can say that it sounds amazing now. Now I'm about to change the sprocket kit and I need to decide between 17 teeth JT with dampener or the 17 teeth Superlite (no dampener). What do you guys from BC recommend?
Awesome! We've had a lot of good feedback with the Superlite products, from race tracks to the deserts.
@@britishcustoms Sounds great!
