An anthem worthy of every modest man.
Is it just me or does the image of the USS Stingray departing in "Down Periscope" come to mind
Another enjoyable, song. 👍🏼I lived near Boston back in the 1970’s and 80’s.
That’s a heck of a baritone section. It’s all wonderful, and I can hear each part. Beautiful voices.
A great group, to listen to . Very inspiring. ✨✝️🕊✨
Beautiful. Is this the same group that recorded, ‘Set Sail,’ cd?
❤word
Awesome
As of this writing, it's October 13, 2023. Happy 248th Birthday, Navy!

I remember that last note echoing through the nooks of St Peters for like 10 seconds and the look of joy on doc Talley's face
beautiful
Thx!
I need to get the sheet music for Anchor's Aweigh. I want to learn how to play Anchor's aweigh on the guitar and piano.
Me too. The first piece is my absolute favorite instrumental piece. Thanks to Prof. Boonshaft for introducing me to it.
Dave, Back then, we were all…slimmer. Thanks for posting, great memories…AND I can show the kids that all of my claims of past choral glory are true! Well, at least I was there… All the best, Matt
Thanks so much for uploading, love this album
Was that Captain Kelly the same man who was Chief Engineer on the Constellation in the 80s?
Thanks for posting Dave!
What's going on at 6:21? Is that image created from RADAR returns?
Captured by Flir of them landing on a carrier
@@possiblyadickhead6653 No, I don't think so. There is no LANTIRN pod symbology and the image is playing out like a choppy sideshow. I think it's the ground mapping mode of the APG-71.
@@CallsignJoNay there is a thousand reason a video could be choppy. And its for sure a carrier. Also if your radar is active this close to something so reflective like a carrier it would damage itself.
@@CallsignJoNay Its probably the thing mounted below the nose of the aircraft. There is even an IRST option for it on screen. Watch the video again.
and a stt function too. Lmao no way thats a2g radar. Certainly not mapping.
Thanks for doing this Dave, my son and I were tigers on this cruise. Great memories
Nothing else sounds like Doc Talley's Men's glee club
I served 03/87 thru 06/91 A Division /Engineering Dept.
Wow, I remember this show! I marched in the Bridgemen that year. Man we sucked!! Can't believe we didn't even have our show completed by late June. 😂😂😂
Dont rag on yourself like that. I marched Freelancers in 87-92... the 1987 Freelancers were competitively the worst in the corps' history but without a doubt my favorite year. Did the Bridgemen have a down year? Yes, and they unfortunately folded after this year but not BECAUSE of this year.
This is why we are the best in the world.. Thank you all..
THANK YOU DAVE, for the rest of you SAILORS, you will always be invited to my home: 3198 Horse Road, Hayes, VA 757.846.4352, all I do I talk about AMERICA'S FLAGSHIP. My life will never be the same after serving in AMERICA'S NAVY ON AMERICA'S FLAGSHIP. Bobby Estey, (77-81) AIMD / IM-1 / IM-2 Divisions. As stated before IM-2 was my favorite in Jet Shop. SO MANY STORIES. Constellation was the name given to the first in 1797 after the 13 stars Constellation of the US Flag, SO THERE YOU GO, LEARN YOUR HISTORY, and that's why we are AMERICA'S FLAGSHIP.
All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.
Love that you posted this. I had no videos of it. #95Sir #95Maam #NonSibi
Good to see you, Lance! How you doing, Brother?!?
Thanks, Dave ❤💢❤
This is an awesome throwback video. Thanks for posting!!! Boots!!!!
Dave - I don't have my copy of the disc - who was the composer of this setting?
Hi Chris. Composed by Mikail Ippolitof-Ivanof, arranged by Charles Roepper. Copyright 1916, Boston Music Co. Hope that helps!
That was impressive, Throat!
Thanks! Do I know you, brother?
@@davelozinger1780 I was an AT in VF-2. I just happened to remember your call sign. Remember AT3 Melland?
@@thesensoryoverlord7955 I do! Glad you stopped by! Hope you're doing well. I always appreciated your work.
I miss you Lori I wish we could go back in time
