Being able to type in a location from garmin connect app on phone would be great I think that’s one of the things that coros does better than garmin on the app on the phone

DON'T INSTALL THIS! The update is a total mess. Look at the Garmin forums. Basic widgets are crashing and Daily Training Suggestions doesn't work at all.

Can it be used on a motorcycle?

DSW (daily suggested workouts) not showing anymore in calendar or prompting before a race or in the morning report. I have to restart my watch everyday to get it to show me the DSW, it seems that they disappear during the night.

Pin drop navigation from Google Maps would be great

Love the route from maps update! If you guys could have it route from maps even during an activity, that would be amazing. Able to reroute quickly during an activity from Apple Maps.

Be VERY wary of installing 17.23 on a Fenix/Epix/Enduro if you use Power Profiles (are not respected by activities, they default to Normal) or Daily Suggested Workouts - which only work for a day LOADS of bug reports on the forums. Both bugs were reported in April (PP on the 1st) but were never fixed in the beta program and as a result in the final 17.23 they're broken for loads of users. Stay on 16.22 for now

If you are coming back from a long term injury is it normal to be unbalanced on the high side until you get back into the normal training routine. Does the baseline change over time to accommodate the increased HRV?

Garmin Messenger is great, works stably. And it's good that Garmin is developing. But the 17.XX software has a damaged calendar widget, Daily Training Suggestions, and the Running application. Not to mention dozens of errors and non-intuitive functions of the strength training application.

Can you get a bigger band for it ?

Garmin needs to put more effort into their app. The data available is next to useless compared to arccoss or shotscope. I'm not buying an Epix watch until Garmin do something about it.

Finally!, Garmin understands the imported TP running interval workouts that are based on power and are spoken correctly on my headphones during the training. Still the speed and no (Stryd) power, but this version is a begin :)

How do we even get this update? Email I received said through Connect but I’m not seeing anything? Any help appreciated.

Can this interact with raymarine products? My chartplotter and autopilot are Raymarine.

Can you remove “Vibrate whilst locked” please! A vibration notification for lock & unlocking is fine, but I don’t need constant reminders each time I accidentally press a button or touch the screen.

The only real software update is being able to use connect offline. Everything else is more Marketing.

When will I be able so send a position from my android to the watch, so it will navigate there?

Why is older models with plenty of storage and power always left out. It feels so articial to gate updates like this to newer models. If I can get new features to my 5X+, just let me at least have the option to pay for new features. My watch is way to good to retire, but I also want new features. So right now I am just a frustrated customer.

Why does channel have ads?

How does the shooter KNOW what distance the reading was captured by the Chronograph? The first shot could be recorded at 7 yards, and the next shot could be recorded at 12 yards, so how would a shooter know that with this Chronograph?

With the Garmin RV 1095 will be able to have 4 cameras? Can you switch back and forth to different cameras, if some are powered up at same time?

Just bought my first Garmin product the Forerunner 165 Music, still learning though but thanks to your video it made it easier navigating.

The ridiculous differences in software between your watches are inexcusable. You need to get your stuff together, simplify and unify the software. There's way too many watches and way too many silly differences - it makes choosing your watch so confusing!

My Tread app (Android may '24) doesn't have the Great Rides layer. What gives?

Regret a bit not buying FR265. The FR165 works fine and I like it, but it lacks so many activities like snowboarding, rowing, inline skating, which are all available on FR265

Several comments refer to exact positioning, expecting cosine error to affect readings. During a test comparing Xero to LabRadar original and new hand-held along with the Garmin. Velodities were 3120 or so and all three read within 10 fps or so even when all three were turned 15 or so degrees to one side. Radar works within its cone of reception, and with its axis so close to the muzzle (inches, feet) the readings aren't affected vs saay moving the chrono several feet to the side..

If this would be someone's first chrono I can understand some of the questions here. I just upgraded to Xero from a 15 YO Pro-Chrono digital & LED sky-screens & have nothing to ask. The Garmin does much more and sets up in a minute or two vs 10 or more to set up the oldie & tripod, and align it to the bench for each target.

Awesome video, thank you! I got a question about the map feature. When you use the map, but choose a different data screen. Do you still see the direction with a little arrow while you are on a different data screen or do you have to reopen the map screen to see the direction?
