Thank you for the video! I agree with those in the top category. I particularly enjoyed Richard II and Henry V, but that is because I am interested in the historical period of the war of the roses. Shakespeare is fun because maybe one day in the future you will return to these lower ranked plays and move them up.

This was really interesting to watch because while I differ in many of your opinions I respect them. Because at the end of the day we are all individuals so everyone can't like everything. This was also interesting because when I read crimson rivers I wasn't really thinking about it critically. I really loved Crimson rivers but then didn't like the ending of atyd.

I agree with your review so much. Thank you for filming it because Crimson Rivers gets so much hype on tik tok I thought I was alone in my opinion. Similar to you I love blending of the fandoms. It was very seamless and creative. I also love arena bits. I didn’t mind Lily but I don’t like her character in the canon much so I don’t much care if she’s OOC or not. But I think the fic had major pacing problems (apart from arena bits) and both the chapters and story overall were too long and too introspective (like I don’t have to know EVERY thought of every character to understand their motivations). The author should learn to kill their darlings (and I mean it both literally and figuratively). And last thing everyone was too self sacrificing (it made me nauseous). I mean I understand love and all that but it’s improbable that EVERYONE would literally die for everyone at the drop of a hat.

The hype around art heist baby is unfounded in my opinion. I think the writing is kinda lazy and not good. There’s also just no chemistry between characters. Just Lovers is so cute but there’s no death and it’s definitely not even close to cannon so I don’t know if you’ll like it lol

If you’re looking for another fic to read either Choices or Only the Brave are both Jegulus but in the Harry Potter universe. Choices is more fitting Jegulus into cannon, only the Brave is if everyone had a happy ending.

Good morrow fair internet-people! Thank you for tuning in on my adventure to read all The Bard's works! This video is for ✨entertainment purposes✨ and I read these plays *for fun*. I believe there is no correct way to enjoy The Bard but since plays are meant to be experienced, not read, I would definitely recommend seeing the plays on stage if you can (I thin my opinion and ranking of the plays would greatly change comparing the stage productions instead of the scripts). :)

I believe there is no correct way to enjoy The Bard and telling someone they're enjoying something incorrectly is bad vibes. The ranking is based off *my opinion* from reading the scripts for fun, not analyzing them, and since plays are meant to be experienced, not read I think my opinion would obviously change and be higher for the stage versions. (For further info even though this doesn't actually matter: I am indeed 25 years old in this video and I also have two degrees.🙂)

I'm an English teacher and I mean this in the nicest way possible, but some of your takes show some misunderstanding of the core elements of the plays. I highly suggest you take a Shakespeare class if you ever attend University. You seem to love reading which is the first step to understanding literature. Sincerely all love and thank you for taking interest in Shakespeare.

Absolutely read Art Heist Baby! It’s one of my favorites. It also has the element of tragedy at least with the main characters that you don’t get in Crimson Rivers.

On the St Andrews website it states that all the postgraduate accommodation at RDA is all ensuite rooms, but you have stated that you have to share a bathroom? could you clarify that please. Also, are you self catered or do you have catered accommodation? Mainly though, it would be very helpful to know if there are any postgraduate rooms with private shower rooms or not at RDA? thank you for your help :)
