I made similar trap what works really well is I use 3\4" PVC pipe and the big ring on the bottom I loaded led and sand inside pipe just the bottom one. If u tighten the net up by retying then u won't have bottom float up like that get more in the trap as well
He could not fit his fat ass in that trap . Are theese any good for blue crab in fla perhaps on rockies bottoms

Depressing music, makes me feel bad for the crab and im not hungry anymore.
watching those crabs get snatched up is actually kinda sad with the music. i would've been wiping away tears while eating their delicious legs :(

cool thats not that far from me im in santa clarita i just go to castaic though. i just got a mini motorcycle a honda grom so it gets me there in like 25-30 min. and at least i can fish kinda close to my house. i was thinking i should take it to the ocean though. i know i can get it there i just cant take it on freeways is the only bad thing about it. but it can go on highways and im pretty sure there is side streets that can get me to the ocean. but it would def be a longer trip. castaic is just easy to get to though its a tough spot to fish but i want a dd largemouth.. nice fish was that a halibut?
