      I'm sorry you didn't get a response from your email. Are you downloading the library from www.pitsco.com/prizm/TETRIX-PRIZM-Robotics-Controller#downloads? I tested the TETRIX PRIZM Arduino Library Download Now button, and it worked correctly. Your browser settings can affect your downloads. Have you tried right clicking on the Download Now button and selecting Save Link As...? If this still doesn't work, please email pitscoed@pitsco.com with your request, and I'll email you the ZIP file.

    Hello, there is a problem with connecting a DC motor controller Tetrix to the ev3 unit. Downloaded and installed the EV3 blocks for LEGO MINDSTORMS. But the program doesn't recognize motors . gives a yellow exclamation mark over the icon of the port. And watching LEGO ports shows the electricity meter. Help us understand what's going on, maybe we need to install some additional software to make the EV3 unit recognize TETRIX motors.

      Thanks for contacting us! We're sorry you’re experiencing difficulty with the EV3 Blocks in this particular instance. If you’re currently using the new EV3 module for TETRIX® PRIME (which makes these systems completely compatible), the instructions in the video won't work. If you’re using the products featured in the video, unfortunately, this webinar is a little older and we no long carry this HiTechnic product as a controller for EV3 and TETRIX. As such, we cannot replicate this error, which limits our ability to troubleshoot. But we want to do our best to help. Can you email us with more information about this error at pitscoed@pitsco.com? If you’re interested in alternatives at some point, you might consider the EV3 module we mentioned, or we have the PULSE™ and PRIZM® robotics controllers, and the TETRIX MAX DC Motor (or Servo) Expansion Controller.

    • @TETRIXbyPitsco
      @TETRIXbyPitsco Před 6 lety

      That piece is the aluminum servo shaft to 4.7 mm steel D-shaft axle adapter that's included in the TETRIX MAX Standard Servo Mounting Kit (www.tetrixrobotics.com/TETRIX-MAX-Standard-Servo-Mounting-Kit). It's a specialty servo horn that connects the axle directly to the servo.

      I will soon be posting my code on Github with the path finding behavior and the arms will move slowly back and forth as it rolls forward to simulate walking. When the robot sees an open path the arm on that side rises up and points the way. It is a very simple form of behavior but makes the robot look almost sentient! Right now I am trying to simulate multitasking on the Arduino to make the arms move while the robot rolls forward.

      +Gabriel Mellace - Thanks for contacting us! Your rack and pinion slide should have come with an instruction card that noted other components not included, and the socket head cap screws that can be used (6-32x5/16, and 6-32x1/2). These screws can be found at www.tetrixrobotics.com/Socket_Head_Cap_Screws. We have other hardware that can be used to connect your parts at www.tetrixrobotics.com/Fasteners_and_Hardware/TETRIX_MAX.
