Good job, dude.
I love how so many of these magicians have shaking hands during the trick. They're wobbling around, they're clearly nervous. But the moment they need to manipulate the cards at all? Smooth, practiced precision, the kind you only get through true muscle memory.
Now you have an autographed card to go with the bullet :)
Great trick! Love the clear cards; I have a deck m'self. :D
Truly stunning -- thanks for sharing this brilliant illusion!
Thank you so much!!!
Just for the record, the bullet that Penn spit out into your father's hand was never actually fired from that 357 magnum that night. 😊
Yeah it was- it was fired through glass and he caught it between his teeth - I watched it happen
I know this guy.. I sued him for medical malpractice.. he put a quarter in my ear so I would pay him to remove it
Pretty neat trick there with the switching of the signatures on the cards, where would one be able to get a clear plastic deck like that since many a card trick has been performed by P&T and even on this show but it's the first time I've even seen a deck quite like that. Did you get it in some Magic store or were they specially ordered somehow?
I got that exact deck from a spencers/hottopic type place. I like it because it's plastic and therefore waterproof.
I am , I guess proudly, a sucker for tributes. I don’t mind you didn’t fool P&T, you truly entertained me, and made me wish you were my PCP!
Is it just me or was his hand shaking so much during the performance? But great great trick!!!!
Very nice trick !! Was amazed and thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much for your reply. I'm a Doc myself, and it was fascinating to watch you master the Art of Magic alongside the Science of Medicine. Please do keep it up, and continue to amaze us@@scottkahn3480
Great stuff! If you find a better way to do the "oh sorrry" part, it would be a killer trick
It was a great trick, but what I really want to know is, where do you get a magic marker that clicks!?
Look for the retractable sharpie.
😊
Yes you woulda thought they woulda had a Fool U Trophy just for the bullet. In fact you should of not told them about the bullet and say at the end. When I left this cup up here's the bullet you fired 23 years ago travelled through space time.
You can tell he's a doc by the way he signed the card. It's either his name, or an order for a 2vw chest xray.
🤣
This was so cool!
Really fun performance!
Thank you! Good hearing from you...
I only made it to 0:31 and had to pause it because I saw the view from the Boylan Bridge for just a few moments and instantly recognized one of my favorite places to watch the rails. 😀
That is the most insanely transparent trick I’ve ever seen!!! Wow I’m sad he didn’t fool them
Obviously the bullet has no real role to play in the trick, other then to bring a lot of joy to Penn and Teller, which it did, as for the trick, I couldn’t see through it.
The only thing I can think of is that you may have created a moment to do something fishy with the whole "oh sorry, here's a pen..." moment, but even then I wouldn't have a clue what you did, how you did it. Awesome trick.
I dont want to give it away, but I saw it on the first watch. It's performed very well. All ill say is watch it again but pay close attention to his actions rather than words.
@@YoBrand15 Saw it on the second watch. It's realy sneaky and brilliantly done.
I have see so many trick and have no clue how this was done. Right until placing the selected card in the box you can see its the selected card. With his last move Scott could have attached the King face to the card, but how his King changes to the 6 of diamonds I have no clue at all. Great performance, really well done :)
How is he talking so calmly yet his hands are trembling. That’s impressive
Essential tremor
That magic bullet also travelled in time 23 years 😂
That was such a cool trick! And great narrative too. Also, very unique set of cards! Thank you for sharing it
This is a cool trick with a nice prop but it doesn't incorporate the bullet aspect at all, i was expecting something like a card stab expecially bc the cards were kinda like targets
The trick mimics that double bullet catch trick by P&T, where the signed bullets changed places by them firing the guns at each other.
I think it's also a nod to their classic deconstruction of the cups and balls.
Coolest prop on fu ever
Not a coincidence it's awesome!!!
this guy is a huge fan of penn and teller. im glad to see penn and teller inspire new great magicians that arent like the rest of the bunch. P&T went out to change the magic game and dr scott is proof that theyve done it. even the way he said clear plastic cards its a nod to another penn and teller trick. clear. plastic. cups. LOL man i wish he fooled them. hopefully dr Scott keeps it up and continues his passion
:) That's very cunning. Bravo!
You know your stuff when you i invite both up for a close up performance!
I can see how this can be done, but nothing shows in the rutine it us very clean and smooth all through
Great narrative set up.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is definitely the coolest version of this trick.
Thanks so much!
Nice trick! But penn & teller is real smart, good try but no cigar 😉
Jason L would be proud :) I could see he was very nervous I would’ve been too. It’s not a hard trick to do but very good I like clear cards part.
Penn is such a grateful host. Even when he’s not fooled at all, he is gracious enough to complement his guests as much as possible. He doesn’t demean them, like Simon.
Best thing about FU, IMO. Also, the magicians are screened, and it's the talented ones that get to go up there and perform, whereas XFactor etc, at least in the early stages, it's anybody's game, and that leaves more room for ridicule both from the judges and audiences alike
well done
Beautiful
Thank you!!!
how how how😂😭
I hate that they don't clearly state what the magicians do. Leaves me so clueless, like how did you not fool them.
It wouldn't be fair to the magicians if they did. The moment remains magical for the audience (in person and online) when Penn and Teller don't clearly give away how the trick was done. No one would want to perform on the show if they knew that their best tricks would be given away to the general public.
Watch enough Fool Us and you'll start to figure out some of their code. Couldn't quite figure this one out, though
@@itsafunnyoldworld it only took me a few videos to understand his code. It’s extremely easy to understand lol. Also what did he say during the sneezes. I couldn’t understand what he said
It's frowned upon by magicians to reveal how tricks work. It can literally make you lose popularity and respect by the entire community. So I'm sure they wouldn't do that on live television.
This guy is a real kahn artist
And you're a real pundit
Were you as nervous as the hand shaking makes it out to believe or it’s just a magician thing ?
He mentioned in the comments that he has a condition that makes him tremble.
@@poroward2059 Yeah but i see a lot of nervous shaking on this show as well. Seems normal it's a nerve wracking experience
Likely the largest audience almost any will ever have. Adrenaline is assured lol
Or is it Penn 😒 🤔 😒 🤔
Is teeler ever going to talk 👄
He's seen to much by now. Lol
He talks all the time. He’s not mute, he just doesn’t talk in his act. It’s his schtick.
@@KSE828 I love how is name is Teller too, but doesn’t tell
@@KSE828 He talked in one recent act. I forgot on which show. It was something with sledgehammers and Teller's head. He said something like "are you crazy?" on stage.
Many years ago, I was at a P & T show where members of the audience were invited on stage during intermission to see how a trick was done. Teller was directing traffic. I thought, "Cool. Teller Speaks!"
Don't care that he didn't fool them, the story crafted by a magic trick was awesome.
Thank you so much!
Awesome job Doc! Awesome being a doctor but going after a passion.
I can see he's a real doctor from the way he wrote his name on the card. It was completely and utterly illegible.
I rly like how his hands shake because he is so nervous but he still managed it perfectly :)
Not nervous. Medical condition.
@@scottkahn3480 just curious as someone who has this condition, is it an essential tremor?
@@josmonlee13 yes
@@scottkahn3480 It's amazing that you do magic, and did that trick.
@@scottkahn3480 i myself am diagnosed with essential tremor and it very very hardly worsens when i get nervous and try to stay still. I couldnt sit straight on such a big show, it would be a nightmare
