She will be a medal favorite, however, however, Pauline still the one to beat when it matters. Sydney has unfinished business with the much sped Euro queen, Femke Bol at the 400 hurdles. Once she dominates in Paris, Sydney will put full focus on 400 flat assist a boatload of competition unlike the hurdles. In addition, the 200 meters will also be in her future sights. I like Pryxe though.

This is a smart move from Julien Alfred camp to see where she's at running against all the top 100m and 200m women i also think she's on the right path to medal at the Olympics

Suspect Thomas will prevail over Alfred & it will be interesting between Adeleke, Asher-Smith & Neita, but I'm most interested to see what Amy Hunt can produce. After an U18 WR over 200m she had a leg operation & this is her first season back. Although 2nd in the GB Olympic trials which would have been an automatic qualification if she had the time; she didn't: not until La Chaux de Fonds last weekend (which was nonetheless disappointing). Been expecting a breakthrough run from her but it hasn't materialised yet, though she has some great relay splits...every outing could be the one, including London! She might need something special to convince management she should get a spot in the final relay ahead of Bianca Williams (whom she beat in the trials only for Williams to run a faster 200m in La Chaux de Fonds).

Shamier Little and Rushell Clayton will be running for 3rd at Paris, so the race for 2nd will be worth watching.

My understanding is that once the meet starts 4 athletes can be listed for a relay team, along with 4 named substitutes. The team can shuffle these 8 runners in any order they chose for the qualifying and final rounds, but they can't deviate outside the 8 runners they select at the start of the meet. Is this correct? If so, I assume the USA will put Sydney on the substitute list for the 4x4 and only use her in the finals? Same for Netherlands with Bol.
