Руины трудно, потому что там очень много всяких кадров было, а сейчас лес, а дорога, дорога они куда-то едут на расследование, и вдруг машина с того останавливается. Even though it wasn't long, I wish we got a few more scenes like in this video exploring what Skyler was experiencing. I wonder what else we could have gotten if it had been made for one of these channels that have no problem giving each episode more flexibility in time constraints because they don't have to work with planned programming slots and ad breaks

OMG, you're getting more and more comments (I revisted the previous video because I wanted to see Pixie again haha). Soon you're going to get so many comments, you may not be able to respond to them all so I have to appreciate your in depth responses while they last. Agreed (from the last comment), I believe fiction has useful life lessons, which is why I appreciate this show so much. It highlights how fantasy is a an altered, creative, and exaggerated version of the reality. I remember learning how authors of the past expressed their inner thoughts and commentary about society in a fiction novel, so they will not be targeted. Fiction...or folklore to be more exact, truly is the oldest form of technology because it uses the most powerful processor of all, the human brain. As for the comment you made about the dangers of unknown tyranny...even known tyranny is dangerous, since it's run by fear. This episode showed the same motif, Henry witnessed what evil people are capable of and became afraid. Emma then showed how good can beat evil through influence and power in numbers. Sadly this is the same tactic evil uses to gain power. IMPORTANT NOTE! (from a fan's perspective!!) You must fix your patreon. This is one of those shows where people form strong opinions and strong alliances and they can be pretty awful to one another and to the reactors. Just a word to the wise...

Regarding the Hank/Jr scene: The way I saw the scene was not Hank being embarrassed about Jr's condition, it was just Hank being a clown, because he's always like that. If someone who matters (to Hank/Jr) asked about his condition for a legit reason I'm sure Hank would have no problem talking about it (Or Letting Jr talk for himself), but in this case it was just some random girl who had no business knowing about that, so Hank just shut her up to focus on what he wanted to do (scare JR straight), and not go in detail about what JR's condition was to a random sex worker girl they'd never see again. I think this is a very 'case by case' thing, like some people would prefer *this* while others would prefer *that*... Personally, if a random person asked about my disability or a medical condition or literally anything that isn't their business, I'd be perfectly fine with someone telling them random nonsense... I'd much prefer that, vs telling them about my condition.

I think it's an interesting thought experiment, the 'self defense' thing you talked about... Sure, killing in self defense isn't the same as killing in cold blood, but the line can get a little blurry when (like in this case) letting the person go means they'd probably kill you... So is it still kinda like self defense? (I suppose you could just turn yourself him - and them at the same time - but who knows if they'd try to get you in jail). About Skyler 'being a Karen': Just so you know, she's a bit of a polarizing character. Well, I'd say almost all the characters are to an extent, because they mostly all have some controversial stuff about them! But they're all very well written (and acted), developped and all.

Good reaction. And I totally get what you mean with the problems editing it. But so far you're doing a great job. People in this show all have their flaws, and they're very well written. Jesse doesn't give a shit on demands, Skylar definitely is a "Karen" sometimes, Hank is a loudmouth macho guy, and Marie... well, yeah... more to her and the others probably later. Just one thing: No one here is only "good" or "bad".

People misunderstand Scully. They think because she sees (some of) the weird stuff that Mulder sees, she should believe in all of Mulder's paranormal beliefs. But Scully is a rationalist. Seeing a weird thing one time isn't enough. A rationalist believes that if something is true, it should be verifiable. That's pretty much the basis for both medicine and our criminal justice system -- you need PROOF.

Been looking forward to this! Another great episode. Mulder and Scully's relation feels so real and organic already! I also enjoy that the producer sneaks in episodes not directly connected to the red line but with focus on character development at times.

I have the thing about the family is that they were already broken before the movie starts. It just gets worse. Ari aster also said in an interview that his original cut was much longer and had a lot more scene that demonstrated the family dynamic falling apart. Anyway there's a really good 4.5 explanation video of this movie on CZcams that is well worth the time.

That moment when they give a ride to Anathema is even more hilarious in the book. After she heard that Crowley`s "Angel" she was like "Ah. Well, that explained it. She had been perfectly safe after all." 😇😂

No spoilers here! My little fun fact is: Crowley is dressed as a woman in the Crucifixion scene. Because the show doesn't draw attention to it, unlike Crowley's Mary Poppins outfit, it's easy to miss. It was common for women at the time to wear veils (I don't know the actual term so if someone does, go ahead and share it!) and if you look closely, only women and Crowley wear veils in that scene.

Robert C is the best actor and character on this show. He is so dramatic playing Rumple! You got to love the guy. 😂

So sorry you had a bad day and a spoiler! At least not for this show.. This is my fave episode in the first series, it's really sweet. I feel like it really gives you an idea of why they get on so well. I love how happy Aziraphale is to see Crowley in the French Revolution scene.

"Do NOT buy Betamax", it's a VCR thing, the war between Sony's Betamax or JVC's VHS (Video Home System) began in the early '70's and was won by the one you might 've heard of ages ago: VHS. Aziraphale is so innocent and sweet, I can understand why Crowley likes him so much. And I'm always in the mood for crêpes.

The1972 Betamax prophecy joke (Aziraphale tells the Nazis about one of Agnes Nutter's prophecies in the church) refers to when the technology for VCRs and videocassettes/videotapes (remember those? they predated DVDs) first came out. There was a rivalry between forms of videotapes to see which one would dominate the market and become the industry standard. One of the two tech companies--the one that lost out and ended up not being used much-- was called Betamax (in the US we say Bayta; in the UK, Beeta). In the prophecy Agnes is warning not to invest money in Betamax. But the Nazis think Aziraphale says Peter Max.

Neil Gaiman said as he was writing the church scene he was thinking about who could pull it off and he thought David Tennant could pull it off... and from then on he wrote the part for DT even though the money people wanted a bigger name, like Johnny Depp. Neil held his ground and told them it was David or no one, as David was about to become unavailable. And they gave in and later admitted he was right.

The Globe Theater scene is really great because both David and Michael have performed as Hamlet. David in particular got rave reviews for his performance. If you ever just want to watch something on a rainy Sunday afternoon I highly recommend David in Hamlet.
