Good things do come from bad. Broke my leg last August 15th. Was healing after surgery. January was allowed to put weight on it, heel blister. Turned infected, turned to amputation of foot about mid-shin. Most might see that as a major blow and path to destruction. Not me. I prayed, listened, and moved forward on the path set before me with anticipation of unknown Blessings incoming. To me this was "just another challenge" and I KNOW human beings are Adversity Experts. We are given burdens to make us stronger, better than we were, if we humbly accept and strive. Got my prosthesis this month, walking like a 6' tall toddler, but walking again. The changes from the permanent loss and the money we received have changed our life forever. God always has a plan, even when you are too stubborn to see it. I've always been a Thomas, but like Thomas, once I am told to shove my hands in, I come to my senses and am Faithful.

Hot dogs get a bad rep. He amount of "noses and butts" it would take to make to make one dog would be silly, besides the "weird parts" (for American) snout, tail, ears, cheeks, are sold whole (and are delicious). Hot dogs are made from trimmings which similar trimmings that come in your ground beef. Think of it this way - were being respectful to the animal by eating all its parts and hot dogs do in fact play a big part in that. Now, the salt... or if you're nitrate sensitive - thats something.

I am going to do the same, I can't do it by myself. I read the AA book and realised it's just Catholicism for secular people (confession and reconciliation) so I'll just go to the Church, rather than a secular church based around alcohol.
