A fun experiment when stuck at home. A medley of Hindustani classical bandishes where a word from one bandish leads into another. You’ll probably enjoy it a bit more if you’ve heard some of the bandishes already, but the changes in tune and pace should be fun anyway. Starts with Eri Aali Piya Bin in Yaman and ends with the hori Rangi Saari Gulaabi.

Fantastic drut. Aavo aaj baaje is in itself a sweet bandish. To compose a drut in Shukla without compromising with Raag swabhav and that too in Ada chautal is a splendid job. Thank you very much for this. Heard a bandish in Ada Chautal after a long time. Haven't heard many after Veenataai's untimely demise.

Good singing good presentation. "NAR HAR NARAYAN....is a an old Khandani Bandish. I have heard it many a times and learnt from my great father USTAD AZMAT HUSSAIN KHANSAHAB DILRANG. ((ATRAULI-JAIPUR, KHURJA AND AGRA GHARANA) Ustad Aslam Khansahab and Pandit T.L. Raju also use to sing it in Concerts and Radio Programmes. This Bandish as well is of "MIYA'N ACHPAL" ( MIYA'N MOHAMMAD HUSSAIN ) of DELHI GHARANA. (ASTHAAYI) "TAARAVA GINAT GINAT MAYI TO RAIN BITAAYI, AISI PREET TUM KAHA KINI SURJANVA RE BALAMVA PYAARE. (ANTARA) JAAGAT JAAGAT, PALAK NA LAAGAT, TUM "ACHPAL" SAGRI RAIN NEER BAHAAYE. NOTE. I instruct and request you to please try to learn the right and clear Bandishes from Right deserving authorities(Ustad or Guru) and do not Omit or exclude the Pen Name or Nom dePlumes of the Composers from the Bandish (Composition). This is very very unfair. Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishras use to do this Pen Name Omissions from the Bandishes, as well. Its an insult also to the Composers n Musicians of the Bandish.

At 7:00 antara started on 10th beat and sam on 14th beat. Please make it clear for me. It's my request to GUNIJAN.
This is a typical Jaipur Atrauli gharana feature. They can sing antra without showing the sum just for the sake of singing the antra. Sometimes they can just treat the antra like other gharanas doing vistar and all. Here he is just singing antra for the sake of singing it that's why he hasn't shown the sum at the proper place there. This isn't wrong anyway, but just a gharana practice since it's start.
