I found these clips recently. I don't remember digitizing them years ago, and wish they were full episodes, but at least they look better than the old VHS versions.

I don't remember those puppet characters lol who is this other guy playing the bear
glad theyre playing real pianos, not the crap digitals
I grew up watching mr dress up and then watched with my 3 yr old niece now she 39 😢 took her once to see mr dressed up live and I relive my childhood and the smile on her face man the look on her face was priceless
harmless innocent kids show......classic.
:(
Buddy with the headset. Not impressed with the Bear..
That was fun!
10:11 Mark: Do pigs fly? Mr. Dressup: I don't know. Does a ____ ____ in the woods?
Rockin' R!
Randy Kempf is amazing!
Wow, Randall! Wow, Mark!
I made the song my ring tone and amazing to see people smile and talk up a conversation about the tune. So many happy memories! RIP Ernie!
This is fascinating to watch, Mark. I’d love to see more. I’m a children’s singer who makes videos in my studio basement. I’m also a huge Mr. Dressup fan. My youtube channel is RussTV. Please upload more rehearsal clips. They are amazing to see.
Russ Clayton Sorry, but I only brought my home vcr to this one episode, and the CBC never taped any rehearsals! This small bit of footage is all that exists.
I think I did this about 25 years ago. There was no date written on the VHS tape.
what year was this?
18:18 The terrible tootie troll learning his lines and "Mark, you're supposed to be over there" I died 😂 😂 😂
us Canadians are so freaking polite!
the feather looked like it came from word bird (fred penner)
Happy 50th anniversary, Mr. Dressup.
Too Kool Thank you so much
What's with the fart noises at 1:40?
It was a honor to watch this, I was at the Gemini Award Show and after party in 2010 , Mr. Dress up was number 2 on the all time Canadian list , Not a sole I bet you in the room under 45 that did not watch that show growing up.....
What was number one on the All-Time Canadian list? What could possibly finish ahead of Mr. Dressup?
ive been to a few Gemini award shows back in the day, i wasnt there for 2010 but i do recall the year he passed they did a little tribute to Mr Dressup i think that was 2001 or 2002
That tree was gorgeous yo
Not from behind! 😂
Not from behind!
now this is a kid's show not like the trash they produce today on tv!!!!
I am so disgusted with the filth they produce for children today.
The shows today talk and act as kids are complete morons. It's embarrassing and insulting. I don't know how parents can tolerate them.
I loved watching this when i was a kid . Those were the days .life was so great . We didnt know how lucky we were. Miss those days!!
LMAO...27:22 Who the hell is Troodles ?
oh how i wish i was old enough to write the show a letter during this time. Even as a kid I didnt like this guy. He acted so fake. its like he was always talking down to us kids like we were stupid or something. big difference between him mr dressup. at least mr dressup didnt talk down to us like this guy.
True
i hate that you uploaded just your parts. you arent the reason why this video has 28,383 views dumb ass. and btw mr dressup was annoyed AF with you. you can tell in every episode that he hates every moment. the best is when you were taking cow boy stuff out of the tickle trunk, you can see it in his face how much he doesnt like you. BTW who grabs stuff out of the tickle trunk like that?! thats his job. not yours. ALSO look at his face while youre singing. hes like "FUCK MY LIFE I HATE DEALING WITH THIS FUCKING TOOL"
i would like to be the 1st to say id would have appreciated it more if you posted the entire episode instead of just your part.
i love how everyone seems annoyed by this Mark guy. even in the other episodes. they have this tone like theyre so sad that he is there LOL PS his sighing kills me. such a bitch. I wish the CBC would release ALL the episodes
There's a matching pair of socks on the odd sock tree lol
I loved this show!! So neat to see behind the scenes 🔆
A Crown Royal Baggy
This video kinda made me sad because it added a cynical tone to my memory of the show.
15:45 The puppet actors talking about money and earning triple scale was the highlight for me. Haha.
This just proves that you can find anything on the internet...
352 views. Compared to the clips with Mr dressup..he had 3k and you wonder why?
I'm super disappointed in you for cutting these episodes up and just showing the parts with just you in it. I think you need a reality check. Mr dressup is a Canadian icon. No offense but you'll never be half as famous as he. Nobody is watching these episodes for your parts. They are watching them to see Mr dressup. I respect that you were on the show and whatever but you need to respect that he gave you that time on his show.
I remember him performing this at Dr. Fleas flea market
Rehearsal....ohhhh
lolol
Correction : 6:45
At 7:00 he says "get out of here you old fart" iam so shocked at the unprofessionalism in this. Hes carrying the script around with him!!! Still love him!!
I love Mr. Dressup :) Always will. But the video is labeled rehearsal and indicates that he has the script in hand. It's not the final show we would have watched as a kid,
That wasn't unprofessional he was just being funny
It's a rehearsal ppl!!
Happy Mornings -we always had 2 rehearsals then went straight to video. We shot 2 episodes a day.
Oh wow! Mustve been an honor. He was an amazing and talented individual and iam proud i grew up with this show!! Taught me the value in make believe and drawing.
Is his sock bag a Crown Royal bag?!
24:17 Goddamnit!
17:30 it's a mark.
13:01 who let the kid wave his hand in front of the camera?
This was my favorite show when I was a kid! Im 25 now!
Have you ever gone around and done yoyo demonstrations?
9:02 "Mercy! Fifteen heavy already?" "That's what she said!"
6:42 "GET OUTTA HERE, Y'OLD FART~" [pause] [chuckles] "...and four people left the studio!"
Oh, I'm so so glad you've posted these! Really fun to watch!
