Just received some CCTV SDF files from a client, ArcGIS has tools to import data from MS Access MDB files so I was of course looking for ways to convert SDF to MDB when I stumbled across this tutorial. Very informative and yet another tool for the CAD/GIS interop bag of tricks!! Thanks!!!

great vid.... but here is what my issue is with the built in scale bars. you cant have it show the written scale. im yet to see a drawing that doesnt specifically write out the scale of the viewport. how do i add that? also, If you want a scale bar to be labeled in smaller increments, it shrinks the scale bar. so if i have a 1"=10' viewport... i can have the division set to 20, and end up with a scale bar that is 4" long and shows 0', 20', 40'. i can change the division to 10' and it will show 0', 10', 20'... but now the bar is only 2" long. thats extremely small if someone wants to actually use a visual scale for what its actually used for. unfortunately your vid shows about what every other vid covering the scale bar feature covers... how to change the visual look of the bar itself, but not how to change the contents. one would think i could add an attribute that would include the written scale.

Cmon, guys...giggling and laughing about not knowing how to type and spelling sux or can't remember if this file was made by 3DSMax or Revit, doesn't build much confidence in your audience. I'm trying to find someone with a bit more knowledge than just giggles and laughs. Good luck but not interested.

And will be as a mark to the available videos teaching the REVIT that I have finished from studying them. Hi, How do I set up a annotative scale where my model space drawing is in mm and paper space is in inches. I want to create a viewport having scale of 1:1000 on a paperspace with page size 11" x 17". I tried many permutation and combination to avail. I am using AutoCAD 2018.
