I agree. The Classic Era is the best. My favorites are Curse of Blackmoor Manor, Last train to Blue Moon Canyon, and Shadow Ranch. It is mostly nostalgic choices as I played those games with my grand daughter.We had such a good time arguing and laughing about the clues and such. At the time my granddaughter was quite young (about 10-11) and it just brings back such happy memories. Nancy Drew games were our obsession . I own all of the games and still play them often. They never get old.

This was maybe one of the most enjoyable video about nancy drew games for me. Maybe because the topic is interesting and not common, and because I personally most love this series for its variety of settings and themes. And I disagree about many locations, like, bruno bolet house should definitely be higher, but I absolutely agree about top three! Also, just wanted to note that while you constantly said that you're biased, you actually sounded quite objective, especially for a video like that and that's great. Keep it up!

I agree with all of them but for game number 5 the final scene, id have to say Simone mueller was the worst character in the game.

I would've chosen Jessalyn as the worst one of GTH. We're told over and over by the other characters how warm and wonderful Jess is and that she would never put her family through the trauma of a disappearing act. But when we meet her, Jess is scowling all the time, withdrawn, and she absolutely DID disappear of her own accord. And if Nancy demands answers and wants to tell everyone who's been worried for days that Jess is okay then Jess will summon "Charlotte" and Nancy is killed (either by the ghost or Harper dressed as the ghost). THIS is the woman everyone was worried about? This is the woman who everyone said was the next Charlotte - beloved by all? I don't think so!

Sorry but Chantal of Icicle Creek was worth breaking your rule of no phone friends for. She is the most unbearable selfish character that HeR has ever conceived of. It is infuriating that she pays Tino to be a consultant but doesn't pay Nancy for actual manual labor, doing the jobs of two missing staff members plus her investigation work. No onscreen character is worse than Chantal.

I think an improvement for this video could be not using random game footage and instead using images / collages of all the characters per game. That way all the choices and their faces are onscreen but you also don't spoil anyone bc you've featured ALL the characters instead of only your selected worst choice.

I never did get why Millie was considered a suspect. She's 80 something and the game wants us to think she's been messing with stage lights up on the rickety catwalk and making a bomb to blow up her own workplace/company? They really needed to loop in better motives or plant more plausible evidence that she could at least be behind some of the threats if not the actual murder attempts.

i think colton was the worst in ghost of thornton hall. I love wade's stories and background in the family. Colton seems like the pretty boy fiancé and doesn't seem as immersed.

that's a big no no, say what you want about everything else which I agree with but we don't dis Harlan. I'd rather dis ingrid or elliot than harlan, they throw me off more than he does. I am damaged :(

Midnight in Salem is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! If you watch Arglefumph (Michael Gray) he talks about Midnight in Salem and says that there is mostly just talking to people in the game, not enough puzzles, and it's like your not involved that much. After watching his video, I realized how bad Midnight in Salem is. I don't like these new people who took over Her Interactive and made Midnight in Salem.

My first Nancy Drew game was Shadow at the Water's Edge. I am still in love with that game. I still look up Kasumi on CZcams so I can just listen to the music. I wonder how many other people like UnFunny and myself are still madly in love with their first Nancy Drew game? It would be interesting to find out.
