It's all a matter of personal preferences and taste. What I'd recommend is searching for examples, see what you like, and try to replicate a similar look. Check out other video's about (pattern) design and print on demand, watch other Repper video's. Experiment, keep playing around and find your own style. Have fun! :-)

Thanks for your feedback. I agree it would be awesome. The way Repper is currently set up, its interface needs a larger screen to access all features properly. You could work on both laptop/desktop and tablets.

Hi Rodica, Repper îs supported on laptop/desktop and tablet. A phone screen would be too small to comfortably use the interface and all of its options. I like the idea though!

Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it. Since Repper creates patterns based on geometric tilings, I can imagine that, when you've worked with it for a while, you start to recognize the different tilings and get similar results. However: There's still plenty of space for experimentation: Explore all the tilings including the seamed ones. Experiment with very different styles of source images and the size of your selection area. Add all kinds of effects like the metamorphosis, duotone or borders effect. There are so many different looks you can create. Have fun! :-)

In Repper you can only work with a single pattern at a time. However, when you want to use several patterns on products, this video gives you advice on how to combine them nicely. Certain products on POD stores may allow for multiple images to be used together. For this video I made mockups on which I combined multiple patterns. The website I used to create mockups is PlaceIt by Envato. You could also play around with Photoshop or any other image editing software to see how your patterns work together by placing them besides each other. Have fun!

You definitely could, by using some of the seamed tilings, and selecting the whole bird in the selection area. Although of course they have a distinct look. Have fun! :-)

I am not sure how she created the dress. I expect it's a mockup. I sometimes make mockups by using placeit.net although it's a paid service. But has tons of nice mockups to put patterns on. I'm not sure if it has dresses though. It's also possible to put patterns on any picture using photoshop although that takes some skills (and a photoshop license) Have fun!
