I Can't Believe I Found this Gorgeous Moto Camping Spot

We shove off out of our dispersed motorcycle camping site on the Olympic Peninsula to the highway 101 beauty along side Puget Sound to somewhere to eat. After meeting adventure riders at the store we head into the Olympic National Forest and bump into the High Steel Bridge in the middle of nowhere. It's super fun adventure riding the KTM 690 Enduro through the trails south of the Olympic National Park and we find the best motorcycle camping spot I've seen in a while. On a little private lake where we try and cook a NY strip on the Skotti Grill. Moto camp cooking goes better than last time as the mosquitos close in.

Great video Jeff. I'm in Tacoma, so it's about an hour for me to get to the Park. In June I high sided my 690 Enduro up in the mountains. It took me 3 hours to get back home. The next day I found out that I had fractured 4 ribs and bruised up most of my left leg and elbow. Love the videos. Good Luck. What kind of mirrors are you running ?
Ohhh man that’s crazy. Ribs are the worst. I’ve got the Highway Dirt Bike hand guard and mirror set up. Really awesome and you only have to buy one set for the life of your bike.

Hey Jeff! Met you on the Mazatlan ferry last winter.. Brit/Canadian guy on a bicycle.. I'm back in Lillooet, until Sept 23.. then off to S America for a 6 months bop around there on an RE Himalayan! :oP If you get up this way before gimme a shout.. I bought a lil '77 Honda Trail 125 for w/e pootles so could go for a lil spin.. go camp at a fire lookout or summat? I only discovered Chuckanut last year on a tip from a Burlington buddy I met in Baja.. Awesome road.. I've stopped at Deception Pass a couple of times - nice structure and spot.. Loved PT more the first time I went back in 2007.. went to a rad open mike night that featured a willowy cello player who blew me away so much I bought her CD!.. a bit gentrified now though, boo.. Ever checked out the WW2 gun emplacements at Fort Casey by the Coupeville terminal? Pretty cool.. Cheers!

WOW - I am sad to report that you missed out BIGTIME! I'm not sure why you turned south off of Gosner Road just east of Horsehaven (if you had made it a little farther down that track, you would have seen a rolled-over Chevy Trailblazer, and a few feet beyond that, a beautiful valley with an interesting rock formation). And literally a few hundred yards to the east along Gosner Road (rather than backtracking through Ashwood), the scenery ramps up BIGTIME, all the way through the actual historic Rajneeshpuram ranch (now Washington Family Ranch - Young Life). You seriously need to come back and let me be your tour guide through that area, or join my annual Rajneeshpuram ADVenture campout trip. 👍

We did end up needing it, although need perhaps is not quite accurate. Haha
You can eat your way up and down the west coast - through the overland breadbaskets from one end to the other then back on the coast to eat my way back with seafood and microbrews (there are a LOT of brewpubs and campgrounds on the coast, I don't question providence).
I'm a huge fan of those seaside towns. Good people.
I with you on the heated gear. I have a heated liner that attach to my heated gloves. You need to get the gloves too, big game changer there. And carry them with you. Better to have and not need then to need and not have. I learned that the hard way.
