don't let team ninja near FF8 again holy crap. The absolute butchering both Rinoa and Squall got facially and voice-wise (Doug Erholtz wasn't great to start with and he's gotten worse and more inconsistent over time) is an absolute travesty. EDIT: let alone this complete fabrication regarding a personality shift when using sorceress powers. I noticed it during DFFOO but it's so much worse here. Rinoa never speaks during Angel Wing. Rinoa's always been a cheeky yet determined personality. I literally can't picture ANY of her scenes with this voice. Just thinking of the Timber scene where she's introduced, where she's so relieved and hopeful because SeeD is finally there? With THIS voice? What a joke.

I like the actress' voice performance in FF Mobius. It had a lot more of a unique charm and it was kinda sexy. Also, I just realized Chronodia would have been a perfect skin for Ultimecia with the time schtick, her ability to junction onto beings, and her wings.

I love how JAT delivers his lines alot deeper here.

The visual design is OK, but the voice is absolutely terrible. It's too deep and the VA sounds bored. He sounds nothing like the beloved badass treasure hunter from FF6.

Theres several riddles in this Episode, the padlock, the pin for nathans phone, now the keylock. Usually you can figure them out (though the pin is more bruteforcing it or relying on the puk), but you dont have to solve them in order to continue. In this case your intuition was correct, there was a hint in yout notes, but I also have no idea where it is and the page with all the past information is really hard to navigate.

This voice is more fitting for Selphie then Rinoa. Her voice should be more softer and even mellower then this. 😓

She's definitely my main. Not many characters have area attacks that surround themselves and her "Shockwave Pulsar" can make or break a match. It's very helpful when enemies start bombarding you or you're trying to protect yourself while breaking the crystals.

The voice acting leaves much to be desired but man, Steve Burton's voice is very pleasant to listen to.

The comments on the voice will never stop being hilarious. Femboy character sounds roughly like a femboy character should sound and people are baffled and disappointed he doesn't sound like a generic dudebro. Do people genuinely have no life experience, or are they just headcanoning the character as massively less queercoded than he actually is? J. D. Cullum did fine by the way.

I'm glad someone did manage to get all the in-battle dialogue for Bartz here, so I can show my buddies that I wasn't joking when I said that Bartz gets so angry sounding in this game easily compared to that 1-2 times in the entire PSP era (one of which was a story battle dialogue vs Emperor). Also, when I looked up Bartz's entry in FF Wiki, I found something interesting. While Butz is a funny translation (though I hate that translation for nerfing Faris's dialogue to hell.), the most direct translation is Battsu, actually. Which when I found that out, that was funnier to me, since I only know of one other character from a certain Rival Schools game with that name. So, I will sometimes confuse my boyfriend and a friend of mine on purpose when I choose to use that name when talking about Bartz here.
