I'm glad I bought my home in 1992, 4 br 2 bath 2 car garage on just under 1/4 acre, for $81,375. My mortgage was 8.5% and 2 points. I paid it off 10 years ago. It's now worth around $300K.

Much of this home is gaudy and plain ugly. The house is too large for the lot and drive a short distance to find traffic, graffiti and crime. Nah, too many other places in the country and the world that you can live in for a fraction of this price and have much better overall quality of life.

@@Selling_Los_Angeles Yup, and my and most peoples preference is not to be gaudy. If you believe those bathrooms are classy or that kitchen is in a $28 million home then you haven't seen or appreciated upper end homes. For example, imagine taking that kitchen only and having someone see a video of it and guess what price range that kitchen belongs in and I would doubt one person choosing this price range. Then the backyard, you have a what approximately 20 yards for the long view of staring at the wall/bushes and seeing your neighbors windows which means they can see you, no privacy. And of course that narrow street with parking on one side only. Let's be honest, the nice part of Beverly Hills has wide streets and no cars parked on them because those homes have larger lots and no high rise buildings next door. Good luck selling this home but then the old saying of 'There is a sucker born every minute' should help!
I work in luxury housing @@jayess6318 so I'm pretty sure I know what high-end homes look like. It may not be your taste but it's trending in my area.
@@Selling_Los_Angeles gaudy always trends with gaudy people and no one else. I have lived in beautiful homes and in beautiful communities so I'm pretty sure I know what high end homes look like. And let's not overlook the narrow street with parking on one side and the fact that a short distance away are areas that are graffiti, traffic and crime infested. And of course let's not address the fact that there is no privacy in your own backyard with this home and the view is a short 20-30 feet so one can stare at a wall.
