    I’ve tried rebaling those big squares into small squares. Can never make a nice bale, and the small baler doesn’t like the flakes.

    isnt it supposed to move faster? it looks like a lot of foil is wasted

    • @TubelineMfg
      @TubelineMfg Před 7 měsíci

      Hey Andrei, so the speed of the hoop actually doesn't have any real impact on the amount of film being used. Ideally you want to have about 5" of offset between film layers to ensure a proper seal for fermentation. This can be dialed in on all our units to any users preference. If you would like to learn more about the process we have a great video that explains the process in 5 mins. czcams.com/video/6BVotJsNpaI/video.htmlsi=8WhwpY7SiQyhT912

    • @TubelineMfg
      @TubelineMfg Před 7 měsíci

      Hey Mardi, so these bales would have dried before being baled. Depending on what you are bailing, its ideal that you wait for a 60% moisture level before you starting to bail. If you would like to learn more, we have a short 3 min booklet explaining all the ins and outs of high moisture hay. tubeline.ca/pdf/how&why.pdf

    The original tubeline wrapper concept was designed and built in Scotland by a company called Gray's. Their machine only wrapped the outside of the bale not the ends. The first bale was bagged or a single wrapped bale. The bales were pushed down a sloping ramp until they made contact with the ground which then in turn moved the wrapper along. The line could be made as long as you had space to allow. If you had the bales ready to load on to the wrapper rates of up to 90 bales per hour could be achieved with 2 loaders. The savings on wrap were great as the ends of the bales didn't get wrapped as they were in contact with the next bale making an air tight seal. To finish a Tubeline you put a wrapped or bagged bale on i Then you pushed the line off and moved the wrapper to start the next line. They were also useful for weather proofing hay or straw that hadn't got undercover storage for it.

    This design has been around Ireland and the UK for many decades and in Europe too, great and highly popular way to put up a pile, but its really originally a 3pt hitch tool, not as commonly used on a loader, but if it is, gives the advantage of also used to pack or "tamp" down the slopes and sides. Great to see them catching on here in north America and to see them being built here too. They really excel in heavy crops like alfalfa

    We load 3x3x6 square bales with skid steers with a bale grapple/squeeze. They do no have a lot of reach beyond the front of the skid steers. How should we load a bare bale onto the rotating platform, and on top of the trailing end of wrap, Before I have removed the wrapped bale from where it rests on the ground?

    • @TubelineMfg
      @TubelineMfg Před 4 lety

      Hi David, when you load with a skid steer we recommend that after you dump the wrapped bale you rotate the table about 30 degrees then actually load over the right rear tire. If you'd like to contact us at the office 1.888.856.6613 then we'd be happy to discuss further if needed or answer any other questions you might have. Thank you!

    Doesn't lubricating the chains allow for additional dust collection in the machine? that sounds like it would bring more harm than good..

    • @Redlinesixtynine
      @Redlinesixtynine Před 2 lety

      I don't have this machine, but I do cut and bale a lot of hay,and there generally isn't a lot of dust at this stage of the game. The hay is still drying, so leaf dust or field dust should be minimal.

    • @samkom33

    • @dubns
      @dubns Před 5 lety

      I have a single wrapper also, so I wrap a few singles for end bales. Starter bale you can spear the end since it will have more bales pushed against it, covering the hole. Final bale I spear from the side, and set it on the wrapper from the side, Then the end is untouched.
