Wasn't expecting this but I caught a refurbished MCV
I am glad they are starting to finally refurbish the go ahead MCV Evosetis here to be honest no extra features but yeah bigger padded seats (very much needed) also they added the new go ahead logo and also RR garage logo (normally they don't bother with this but it's nice to see)
Hoping to see more refurbished MCVs and also would like to see some Refurb gemini 3s too (although those have better seats anyway)

Watching videos of these buses makes me miss em more I remember riding the Euro 4 E400 Hybrids but the Metroline ones on the 210 a few times never got to ride the Go Ahead ones unfortunately
The refurbishment is decent but the new go ahead logo is weird, I guess this is the logo they are now going to use for their future vehicles

Oh I’m glad these ones are refurbished with less uncomfortable seats I hope the rest of 16/66 reg MHV’s are refurbished as well.

E213 is worse. The seats are more worn out, this is a bit worn out
This one was also pretty dirty although hopefully no longer the case
@@DanielsUKT E213 and E173 are basically similar altho E213 has rock hard seats and E173's seats are more in shape

RM still haven’t bothered taking out the 103/175 from their blinds. I think that was likely because they thought they could win those routes back from Arriva recently.
Perhaps (175 was at NS btw) but it could also be the case they haven't bothered to update the blinds since then, not uncommon for stagecoach lol
@@DanielsUKT tbh I was genuinely expecting the 175 to go back to Stagecoach for its next contract with new electrics. Funnily enough though it’s likely that it (along with the 150) will get the ex PD G2’s that are currently in AD (with HV188/191 in AR currently). The 67 regs from the 243/341 would likely be used on the 66/103/370, though that won’t be for a while due to AR not having electrification ready yet.
@@AB-ii5pi the later HV1** series ex stagecoach are actually G3s but with the original face-lift compared to newer ones after late 2015. And it's good to hear at least DWs kthe ones for grays) will still be around for some time after the contract renewal starts

Exactly this. I think some of the 198*s were withdrawn too (unless reinstated) but yeah we've known these buses for 13 years and unfortunately it is there time to go. At least we have some years left to enjoy them

If you count LI/HK/AWoperations, the oldest Stagecoach bus SDs are 36038 and DD is 16967. It’s crazy Stagecoach one by one are starting to withdraw these E400s which it’s the beginning of it now. I would say appreciate these buses while they’re around
Haha I forgot about the gemini 2s I guess there gonna go too at somepoint however the E400s (except 19872-73) are OG to the fleet perhaps why there is more of a focus on them

WHV18 went to AF recently, filmed it today & the blue lights at night looked so chill. Presumably it went to AF due to AL getting a huge number of Ee’s.
