I thought I would never experience this one live since they rarely play it today. I was wrong... again... fortunately! 😁 🤘🦊

Nice! Looks like Jake got you covered on the song explanation. This was one of the first performances where I feel Babymetal truly “grew up”. Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🔥 Another song from the same composer of Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Monochrome and Believing. Kagerou is one of their songs showing that mature side of BabyMetal on 3rd album "Metal Galaxy". Started as a SuMetal solo in 2018 but in 2019 and later during live at The Forum they showed up with full formation and one _avenger_ taking the place of third spot as a backup dancer, in that moment was Riho Sayashi. This is a live compilation with clips from Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, Momoko (now MomoMetal) was the avenger, and with the blaster sound of West Kami Band and that melting face intro. Kagerou means "heat haze" and she's singing about the craziness when becoming obsessive for a love. The drummer is Anthony Barone, former Shadow Of Intent member and now is the drummer of a solo artist afaik, the rest of this band are Chris Kelly and CJ. Masciantonio on guitars, and Clint Tustin on bass. They did a more recent live version at Legend MM MomoMetal's 21 birthday. This song was first premiere in 2018 while going on live tour and as a SuMetal's solo, the title was known as "Tattoo" but like i said later next year they came back with a choreo, the full formation and this unveiled title. They will be at Knotfest Brazil, Argentina and Chile for the first time in South America, as well Peru with a headlining show, they will come back to the US for another tour and also Mexico will be part of that tour but this time as special guests for Slipknot, we can't wait for it. Eventually all the songs and the story will all make sense in your mind. Once you've heard them, even if you can't recall the exact song, you'll recognize some parts of these older songs in the newer ones. The theme just keeps getting clearer as you go. But their sound changes too as they go, I mean like they evolved and got even better. Crazy cuz they are unlike any band I've ever followed. Can't wait til the next one. That's one of my favorites on this album. Worship ❤

Yeah, he has his high hat to the right of his snare, or kind of in front of and to the right a little. It's different, but it works for him. I don't know how recent that style is or if he's always did it that way, but he's a classically trained jazz drummer iirc, so he's very technically proficient and I'm sure there's a reason for him to have it there that likely helps ergonomically or otherwise.

Interesting little thing in the lyrics. In the sweet part of the song it's "I've developed a taste for you" but when it goes heavy it becomes "I've got a taste for you." I think this represents Vessel's relationship with Sleep. Vessel writes some truly wonderful words. Worship!

I take this song as an acknowledgement of the emotional toll it takes for him to create and perform content with such emotional impact. He doesn't write happy music because he's not naturally a happy person, so is performing catharsis or punishment? It's an ouroboros of pain - he writes it because he feels it and performs it because he wrote it, and the cycle continues for our benefit. But as one of his messages said - at least he's feeling something.
