    Hi there, do you know if i was to add a texture to a 3d model would it then show up as a surface texture on a 3d print, or is this just a visual addition to a 3d model?

      Hello. This is just a visual addition. The 3d printing software should let you select individual parts of the product in order to print in different material/ colour.

    The yellow grid doesn't show in my version of Cinema 4D. Is there an alternate way of doing this?

      Hi there. After you apply texture to a surface, you need to activate the mapping on the left. Automatically you will see the yellow grid.
