OMG !! One of the single best performances in history. People !! It's a cover !! He made it completely his own. Every melodic word, every trill, every movement of his body.....completely effortless control......utter perfection. We get to feel the song as the object of the lyrics experienced his or her life. Adam understands at such a deep level what the song is saying and he makes it real for us. The look on Paula Abdul's face says it all......She's listening to an angel sing. Simon with "nothing to say" but a well deserved standing ovation. Adam won that year. We all know it. Very glad he is so happy living his lifelong dream. I wish I had two million dollars. I would make a list of my top 10 favorite songs of all time and ask him to cover them !!
