Thai Airways did it again! Hit the right spot and truly among the airlines that you should consider.
In this flight report, TG has shown me its level of service are consistent. Even the Boeing 777-200ER has shown its ageing sign, it doesn't deter TG to 'showcase' an exemplary service.
The cabin crew in Thai Airways economy class were efficient and attentive. They smile all the time. They handled demanding passengers very well and they can 'read' passengers mind too. As the flight leave in the morning, most of passengers had to wake up early to catch the flight. Thus, most of them were tired from lack of sleep. Cabin crew decided to 'black out' the cabin to comfort them. Special praise to the girl who served my row (I really upset not to jot down her name). She is the kind of cabin crew that you want to fly with.
The IFE system is old and archaic. I didn't bother to watch full film in this flight. TG should have a plan to replace it. Its like watching an analogue TV, which gives you a sore eye. Seats are comfortable. I don't usually recline my seat. But I did in this flight an hour before landing. Food are not up to par. Portion was small and tasteless.
A family who seated 2 rows behind me are everything. They boarded the aircraft late, the girl crying out loud for unknown reasons and the boy was highly spirited. Cabin crew managed to calm them down, which I applaud for such skills. The boy really hate flying. He make a very firm exclamation remark when the crew announced for final approach preparation. And the mom gets really excited during touch down. Maybe her 'temporary plight' had ended. All of this are quite funny for me.

Gimme any A350, I fly anytime, long or short. A350 and SQ? Say no more, hands down! I enjoyed every aspect in this flight. Everything looks perfect. SQ herself is a perfectionist. I opted to fly from IST instead of SAW. As Turkish Airlines ticket fares was freakingly expansive, Atlasjet was the last resort. The cabin was very clean and spotless. Depart from Terminal 3, being bussed to remote aircraft stands. BA offered Daily Mirror newspaper at the gate. A bit late due to tarmac congestion. Take-off at LHR and landing at HEL was very smooth. When you order a taxi to take you home from the pub, you don't get a hot tub in the back. Ryanair does what it says, it gets you from A to B safely, no frills.
Worse customer service ever !!!! Disgusting!!! They use phone operators from Philippines ! I bought a ticket from Pp Cambodia to Sri Lanka from Malaysia Airlines website. And also paid for excess luggage of 15kg more . Before the flight I call to confirm all my details are correct with the booking . When I arrive on the day of the flight at the airport Counter the 15kg was showing on there computer but they couldn't accept it coz the of error ( this was not just mine but there were other with the same issue . I was made to pay for a another 15 kg at airport price of $25 a kg !! Airport manager assured me when I arrive at the destination I can claim my money back and I need to pay to take my excess luggage . I called Malaysian Airlines they put me on hold for 1/2 hr each time and cut the line . I asked to speak to the manager they refused and then put me on hold and cut the line. This has happened over a dozen times now . Also I have screen shots of the airport booking info ( before and after ) they have been changed and not showing then previous payment for the 15kg that I paid before the flight. I still haven't got my money back !! And I don't think this air line will give it !! If anyone is flying Malaysia Airlines please keep a hard copy all the documents as they can change them !!? I am very disgusted with how they stolen my money and they must have done to others too .
