Yeah. Fished this pole the rest of the day. Caught a lot more fish. Also used this same pole for next 3 weeks and never changed the line 🤷🏽‍♂️

The only thing you can try to do is to put the rod tip down to see if it keeps them from jumping. By putting the rod tip down you may change their path from coming up. Seems like these bass are smart and know what they are doing

Yeah I been told that quite a bunch. But this day I caught fish all day. Caught a few more in the 4-5 lb range. Used this same set up for two more weeks of fishing. Only thing I did was re tie my leader before every new trip.

For level rods I am using the 7’9 MH moderate. I have used a 7’6 for 5/6/8 xd style. 7’10 for 10 xd. Since this video I have signed with Level and excited to share more about their rods in future videos.

Totally agree. When I do my FFS trips… the days we crack em I let them know it is not always like this. Then I have days we throw at 500 fish and may get 20 to bite. Those are the days some people can get discouraged but I am like hey if we did not have FFS… we may only catch 5 today 🤣. It is not easy as people think for sure

Yeah I have fished in a few boats with hand power TM / FFS. It is not easy due to you need your hands to fish. There are some great TMs out there are cost efficient I am using an old Foretrex from Minn kota still. It is very durable and dependable and not 3k ...

I run my FFS on its own pole that I control with right hand on my kayak and my motor can do its own thing. Its very doable just a small learning curve. The nice thing is I can spot lock and it not move my FFS wherever it wants to.

Yeah I have been a lot of boats with it on a turrett or a pole. There is a time it can be used with a pole but I made a video talking about this... Two clients of mine that I did a FFS trip with in their boat that had it on a pole / turrett. THe second trip was in my boat on the TM. Both put it on their tm. Now this is a boat and not a kayak.... I understand that

Yeah we have those water temps here in the central part of the states but due to your guys climate the fishing is usually a head. I hope to make it down there and fish one day.

I fished 16 years without FFS. Caught bass fine without it. Now that I have it, I won’t go back. You don’t get much time to live on this earth. This machine makes my fishing day more efficient. I actually know if fish are in the area and so much more with this. So I am using my time on this earth with this machine. Just like a cell phone, you can go back to writing letters if you want 🤣

@@TheFishingCoach So, you are plodding around the lake watching your fish finder screen the entire time? I cannot imagine something I would want to do less. What about the entire fishing experience? What about watching the TV wildlife, positioning the boat off of structure, and just the enjoying being on the water? What you are doing sounds like little more than just another video game.

Yeah, I never know what lake I am on, never see eagles, never experience any of that, I don't also fish in 100 degree weather. I just sit on the couch in the AC and play video games. I bet in the last 2 months I have experienced more in the outdoors then you. I have been on the water 31 of the last 60 days.... but I just look at my screen and do not experience anything. I love being on the water. Comparing this to video game fishing makes me lose IQ points thinking about it.....When I played video games as a 15 year old... I won the Heisman trophy 25 seasons in a row. That is video games....

@@TheFishingCoach I am not a young man. However, I am a very experienced engineer and understand the technology incredibly well. I just think there is a time when using so much technogy just to catch a fish goes beyond what fishing is all about. When it becomes nothing more than just catching fish, what is the point? I have caught over 600 Muskies in my life. I have taught many others to fish Muskies. Never once did I need such technology to catch a fish. For me, what is important is the pursuit - not the catching.

I appreciate your opinion and I do like to get insight from other anglers. Knowing that you are an engineer, I respect that due to I have a BS in Mathematics. I did target bass offshore and caught them way before FFS. It has opened the doors to finding them and targeting them easier for sure. I have used it to learn more about bass behavior then what the magazines taught us. I will say it would be neat to see some of the pro circuits have tournaments where it is not allowed to see how anglers would adapt to knowing what they know now and fishing without out. Good luck to you and appreciate you watching the channel. I have done videos recently where we fished without FFS and with to compare the days.

Get out of here Jason. Do you hunt? Have you ever shot a gun? This is not like spotlighting. Sorry that I have adapted and trying to help others. Do you watch sports? Football for example? Nick Saban & Andy Reid both adapted their offensive philosophy to be more successful. So I have to help others in fishing. Get off your cell phone and go write letters to your kids and grandkids.

@@TheFishingCoach The first one. I hear of course the second one is much better. I am in middle Ga, and most of our lakes are more lowland muddy reservoirs. I’ve taken my boat up to lake Lanier above Atlanta which is a highland reservoir, and I could actually set it out to 100 and actually be able to see things, but in most of the places around where I live it’s about worthless anymore that about 30 ft out. I’m sure it operators error regarding the settings, but none the less I can’t get it right.
