    At last a game with proper gunplay! Also I have years to find a shooter game where gun sounds like actual guns. All gun sounds in modern games are like they are muted down. Modern shooter video games are look like family friendly comedy shows in front of this game!

    As a beta i already played or survived for 64 years in game and the game like this video mentioned is like a babysitting instead of engaging. When you have good production, stable money, stable resources the game felt dull as all you can do either go to war or just sit and wait around for ruling. It be nice if the game have raids like fallout shelter or seasons effect like on cold days there will be special ruling on the throne to help people that in needs of supplies for winter something like that. The decoration and your growth for the castle is limited unlike shelter you build a sprawling underground bunker with dozens of rooms while castle you just build some room for your requirement like furnaces, mills, smith and etc. If you wanna build more thats fine but you ended up with empty rooms

      Great point! I did touch on the time-gated mechanics briefly, but you’re right-it could definitely feel too slow-paced for some players. Having to wait for certain actions to complete can be frustrating, especially if you’re used to faster progression in other games.

      Haha, I feel you on that! Once you notice the graphics, it’s hard to ignore. But yeah, those visuals are something else! 😆

    I did play (and complete) the "extended demo", a.k.a. early access build: You basically fight and mine with a starship you build (which is neat), explore to unlock research to staple together a better ship, rinse and repeat. The enemy ships getting dismantled as you damage them, losing firepower and mobility as you destroy their weapons and engines. There are currently just 4 weapon types, each with an upgrade tree. the generator/battery power system, together with the heat mechanic at later stages of the game add a reason to tinker, as otherwise the ship is just a bunch of engines and weapons (and maybe armor, and later shields, if you feel fancy) stapled together... There is a decent variety of enemies(10-ish types), and even an optional overpowered one... The progression is linear (but you can always go back to respawning enemies and resources, and a couple of traders to ease the grind), with marked objectives, a couple of jokes, a tedious, clunky, maze... So 8/10 as of now, and hopefully more once the developers finish the game...

    • @GameVaultHQ-5
      @GameVaultHQ-5 Pƙed 20 hodinami

      Awesome, thanks for sharing your detailed experience with the early access! 😄 Sounds like you really got into the ship-building mechanics, and I agree-the way enemy ships break apart during combat is a cool touch. The power system and heat mechanic definitely add some depth to customization. Hopefully, they expand on the weapon variety in future updates! How did you find the difficulty balance?

    • @user-tb7ml8kz7h
      @user-tb7ml8kz7h Pƙed 13 hodinami

      @@GameVaultHQ-5 Difficulty? {notes to the developer team} I do believe that I accidentally started on the most optimal path of focusing exclusively on plasma weapons (only they get a mk3 version), so I didn't use the research-tree-reset. {make sure that any weapon choice is viable at least until mid-late game} I did occasionally run away from groups of enemies at the very end-game, only to turn around and deal with them one-by-one.{good} The enemy bases were underwhelming - how a stationary base of a faction has less health than their biggest ship? And why can I just power my shield, get close, exchange fire head on (instead of using my mobility to dodge most of its' attacks), and win? Shouldn't a base sacrifice mobility specifically to be stronger than any ship, including mine? {add HP, DPS, and probably size (the largest ships should be dwarfed by base), to enemy bases} I do remember holding myself from just going full murder-hobo on the friendly factions solely because there were so few enemies to fight. {either add more enemies, or a system were enemies constantly respawn} The invisible enemy at the edge of the map was VERY underwhelming - it should be scary (as its' name suggests), and require a reload the first time I meet it, and a hunter-ship-I-have-to-build-specifically-for-it, not an invisible pushover, that I obliterated with merely 2 mk2 plasma guns. And why it didn't give any cool technology after dying? You know, like a proper secret boss... {make it a proper secret boss: add HP, DPS, movement (the invisibility is a nice touch, and I understand why it doesn't drop the tech for it, since invisible player ship will be either useless or completely overpowered), maybe add a disabling attack, and give the player its' research as a reward for killing this enemy}

    some of the fights against bosses, that are supposed to overwhelm the player, make you feel underpowered? I'm sorry but not every game is supposed to be some sort of powerfantasy that you can just breeze through to jerk yourself off your wish fulfillment. Actually i just checked the out the channel. There is no way one guy can play through so many games and write revies for them in such a short timeframe. Now that i think about it im pretty sure all of the game footage is from trailers. This guy probably did not even play the game.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I appreciate your perspective, and you're absolutely right that not every game should be an easy power fantasy. Games like Armored Core 6 challenge players with tough fights to create a rewarding experience once you finally overcome the odds. As for the comment about the footage and reviews-let me clarify. I do use trailers for visual content when necessary, but I also dive into these games myself to provide genuine insights. Although is not a pay to win, the shop is joke. Prices are high for not worth bundles, the battle pass is not retroactive. Even for sim/management is very shallow. @GameVaultHQ-5 Pƙed dnem

      Great question! The Crush House doesn't rely on traditional jump scares like horror games such as Five Nights at Freddy’s. Instead, it builds a more subtle, creeping sense of dread through unsettling visuals, odd character behavior, and eerie environmental details. Things like strange noises, unexplained events, and the ever-watching mascot Chorby create a feeling that something’s not quite right. It's more about psychological horror than jump-out-of-your-seat moments. If you love a slow-burn horror vibe, you’ll definitely feel the tension building up!

      it is not a review, he just read the long version of the game intro created by the game dev team. at least other videos that read the same thing actually made a review. this is a shit channel

    Wasnt the chinese factions hated? nobody asked for them and the were so broken and op

      The Chinese faction definitely stirred things up when they were added, with many feeling they were overpowered and unbalanced. It wasn’t something everyone asked for, but they also brought some unique gameplay. Hopefully, in Age of Mythology: Retold, they’ll address the balancing issues to make it more fun for everyone. How would you tweak them to make things more fair?

    Never played any AC game and barely any other mecha game even. And got hooked immediately! 😁 Very intriguing story with compelling characters unveiled through multiple NG cycles encouraging replayability (plus new AC parts, weapons, missions and endings!) 👌 Unique and amazing boss fights that put to test your knowledge of the mechanics (not as hard as souls likes) It never took me more than 10 attempts to beat any boss while playing recklessly in most of them. The final bosses are very hard but you also have much better options available on your arsenal so it never felt unfair to me. Short and sweet missions with clear and variated objectives to keep things fresh and interesting with some plot twists in the mix.

      Better and worse than Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter. I mostly used the minigun, but I liked the special weapons, too.

    i played armored core 6 for 400 hours & i don't even like mecha 😂 highly recommending this game, 10/10 if you are ready to dive deep into a game which does not welcome you

    8/10 is hilariously low. Albeit multilayer ant the best due to certain metas. The game is still at least a 9/10 game. Customization is a solid 10/10, same with gameplay. Story and missions make it a 9/10 game. Get the game if you havent, i highly recommend.

    They needed to lean harder into the base building. I cant respect a game that lets you make chairs you cant sit in. This wasnt what i was expecting at all. Its more linear narrated approach with building thrown in

    As fan of middle earth, i like the atmosphere and music it feels like i'm a dwarf, combat does feel clunky and not really satisfying, crafting also can be better like add more varieties/make less limitation etc, it does feel like it would be repetitive when you play like over 50hrs maybe but it's pretty decent $20 game. I would say if you're tolkien fan and have partner or friends to play with or just to relax a bit it would be great.
