under real life situations, the decoupling of the engine and fuel tank would have happened before you turned retrograde because if the engine and fuel exploded like that after you were already retrograde the debris would have damaged the pod and heat shield and your pod would have gone boom!

7 years after this mess and the community and even the original devs agree that C&C4 never happened…kinda like the star wars sequels. Sometimes a community can make you proud.

It makes sense Kane would want to work with GDI. He doesn't want the planet to be consumed by tiberium, he just wanted to gain attention of the scrin and then ascend. The news segments are good. The commander's personal life and romance could have been good if they were much less sentimental and cliche and corny and if there was none of that sad music. I don't get the white background in the scrin tower, seems low budget. People hate on the story just because the gameplay is terrible. I don't get it, it's great.

Kane admitting to being an alien should not happen. It's vaguely hinted in most C&C games, but him just saying it is uncharacteristic. And being so open about his plan as well... with no plan B and C. They just messed up decades & 4 games worth of lore ...

‼‼ if anyone is having problems with running out of fuel, make sure that your maneuver isin't a straight shot, have it be further back and basically slingshot yourself around so you have more delta V for more fuel

Command & Conquer 3 (and its excellent expansion, Kane's Wrath) is actually a much better game. C&C 4 is a C&C game in name only. The gameplay mechanics are totally different than all prior C&C games. The story of C&C4 is also not as dystopian, mysterious, stylish, and engaging as the older games. I still hope that one day EA (or some other developer) will realize there is a lot of pent up interest in this real time strategy game niche and produce a legitimate C&C4. Until then, I will continue to play Kane's Wrath, which is a masterpiece. There are also a number of C&C3 /KW mods, many of which are quite good.
