Metalwings is a symphonic/gothic metal band from Bulgaria, formed by the vocalist and viola player Stela Atanasova in 2010.
Metalwings is a unqiue combination of powerful guitars, angelic vocals and the gentle sound of viola.

Vlad Enev - Bass
Angel Kitanov - Keyboards

METALWINGS’s Founder Stela Atanasova states: "Give yourself 67 minutes of pure art created by the soul of our dreams. Immerse yourself in the world of Metalwings. There are no boundaries, there are no restrictions and rules - only freedom, purity and harmony. 'A Whole New Land' is a conceptual album, both in music and lyrics.
We will take you to a whole new land where all predators and their victims live in harmony and peace.
Each of these 11 songs is part of the necklace of life. Each song tells a different story from the life of a little girl who set out in search of the lost land of her ancestors. It's a Whole New Land where once there was honor, dignity, beauty and strength. Where there was life, peace and harmony."

'A Whole New Land' is mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios. Guests on the album include Ivo Kalyonski (extreme vocals on Monster in the Mirror) and Georgi Dobrev (Kaval on Milo moe libe).
The front cover art was created by Yasen Denev at Red Ring Entertainment.
