Wire Wrap Shark Teeth with Ease!
Hello Beaders + Crafters!
In this video I’m explaining in detail how to wrap different shaped shark teeth. You can use half-hard tempered wire or dead soft tempered. Dead soft is easiest to use if you’re new to wire wrapping. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below!
MATERIALS:
It’s a good idea to have a selection of wire gauges. I’m using dead soft:
- 28ga (my thinnest)
- 24ga
- 22ga (my thickest)
- (Optional) Jump Rings
TOOLS:
- Round Nose Pliers
- Chain Nose Pliers
- Flush Wire Cutters
** Please be aware that some teeth are very brittle and may break during the wrapping process.
Happy Beading!!

Love the video. Why do you double up the cord? Does this hinder the way the beads slide?

Hello thanks for very useful tutorial video. I need to do fine silk knotting with natural shape coral beads. I got the way to put french wire but I can't figure out how to put starting wire on silk thread. Do you have a video for that ? Thank you very much 🙏

    • @caMpBeIIA

If you mean the needle, it comes attached to the thread. It’s already on the silk or polyester thread when you buy it. I hope this helps.

Sometimes you do, as our split ring openers don’t always grip the ring properly. And I’ve found it easier to use the second set often with the rings we carry and use.
