Hi there, I have this machine, but the cassette is playing up whereby it keeps stopping and reversing and the playback is slowing or stops. I have tried to clean the head and rollers inside to no effect. Would you have any sugestions please. Many thanks, Richard

bose sold a sound dock with a battery pack already attached. amazon sells a blue tooth receiver that plugs right on to the 30 pin connector for 25 bucks. a lot of work for very little. plus no way does that sound like the bose amplified version did

Harman Kardon just like any other brand they used cheap capacitors and it looks like the caps in the power supply goes bad. I had the same problem and after changing those caps started working again.

Very random question as I've had one of these for a few years. It works perfect but just tried to plug in a 1/4 - 3.5mm aux through the headphone output but I only seem to get mono audio into the left ear. Is this because the output in the system is mono?

Hi! There is not much traffic here, even though I just bought a used one for 45 Eu. One out of 10 DVDs works, it also has a stuttering sound, and I don't like the picture either. It works well with CDs, I use the amplifier part, the sound is very good on sound boxes and headphones. I received it with an aftermarket remote control, but I roughly figured it out :-) I'm glad if this great device brings joy to others!

creo que no es buena idea eso que hiciste, queda la bocina funcional pero pierdes la calidad de audio por haber quitado el amplificador y por poner otra tapa ventilada a la caja acustica por la tarjeta que metiste, pero tu idea es buena para equipos de menos calidad, en lo personal creo que echaste a perder la calidad del audio. hubieras puesto un adapatador bluettoth en la base del dock de 30 pines y listo

Attention les gars, les ak141 de chez Philips sont des enceintes 1 VOIE (1 way) et non 2 voies comme omis sur l'étiquette arrière car effectivement j'en possède une paire qui ne contiennent qu'un baffle avec un pauvre cache plastique en guise de leure pour le Tweeter et un évent. Certainement des enceintes faisant partie d'un kit hi-fi bon marché ce qui est étonnant de la part de Philips !!! Attention guys, the ak141 from Philips are 1 WAY speakers and not 2 ways as omitted on the back label because in fact I have a pair which only contain a baffle with a poor plastic cover in as a lure for the Tweeter and a vent. Certainly speakers that are part of a cheap hi-fi kit, which is surprising from Philips!!!
