Cycling mostly on the Interim Cycle Route from Suir Road to Thomas Street then through The Coombe and Kevin Street. The work so far on the Interim Route isn't bad but some shockingly bad surfaces elsewhere on this route! The crossings at Suir Rd and the SCR will hopefully be dealt with as part of this project.

Cycling from Suir Road to Portobello in Dublin in May 2022 A fully segregates 2-way cycle lane on the Canal side of the road looks like an absolute no-brainer to me.

Braved cycling the Con Colbert Rd / Chapelizod Bypass & St John's Road rather than through Kilmainham and the Royal Hospital. 60kph traffic with only the bus lane - no segregated cycle lane. I strongly belive any road 50kph or above inside the M50 should by law have to have segregated cycling.
Wolfe Tone Park and Capel Street Dublin

Walking across the square of the newly redone Wolfetone Park and cycling Jervis Street Parnell and the length of Capel Street which had been permanently closed to motor traffic just 2 hours earlier. It's going to be a huge success. Looking forward to it's eventual resurfacing as a proper pedestrian & cycling street.

A busy day on the Liffey Greenway with the Trinity rowing Regatta taking place. Lots of boats on the water and bicycles and onlookers on the path. The lovely weather helped bring people out. The cycle path really needs to be tidied up!

Starting in Kilmainham and cycling along the canal from Suir Road to Portobello. Almost continuous bike lane but in poor condition in many places. There's a huge opportunity to put in a quality bike lane here. Load of room and loads of destinations close by along the route.

There is new secure supervised bike parking in a couple of Northside Car Parks - Jervis and Marlborough Streets. This is a cycle from the existing Drury Street on the Southside to Jervis Street.

Taking the new protected cycle lane on the South Circular at Kilmainham, following the SCR to Islandbridge, along the edge of the Phoenix Park to Conyngham Road and onto the North Quays. The new protected lane is a bit narrow! And covered in leaf fall.

Thank you for the video! I learned how to ride a bike one month ago and I was thinking of riding on the road. Wanted to check some videos to understand more about road rules. This video was the best because I live and move around in Dublin city.

It's very handy and seems to be a safe place to lock the bike.
