Lmao how you really win street races with a quad is you get a banshee, lower it to the ground, put street tires on it, bore it out, put pro and race grade exhaust and intake on it. And then strap a cinder block or two to the front bash bar. Pure off-road to on-road conversion racing pedigree.

the mustang makes roughly 225 at the crank, and weighs about 3500. the quad weighs about 380 and makes 40. the car has 7 more hp per pound than the quad

I don't know why this is surprising to anyone, especially racing such a short distance...I used to do 200' ATV dirt drags and when I first got the 660 raptor I had at the time it was bone stock and still did 0-60 in about 4.2 seconds, slightly quicker than most Dodge vipers...Its weight to horsepower ratios aren't even comparable and if that 450 is now a 500 , I highly doubt they just did a big bore kit and didn't go higher compression and a port job...

It's all about the torque to weight ratio
