To me, you had a fuller, darker sound on mp A. I also play an XO and its interesting how much better it sounds with ever-larger mouthpieces. I'm staying at the size of Denis Wick 4 for now.

Does this fit a sousaphone?
No it does not. It does not even fit a tuba. There are versions for tuba though. I doubt there is any compatibility with a Sousaphone. It seems like a rare use case but there might be a diy solution out there somewhere.
