Bike needs to be straight. If the bike is on the kickstand leaning, you will leak oil from the primary.

No, please don’t use loc-tite. The torx on the cover are very easy to strip, and every time you do an oil change, you need to access the derby cover.

I received that addendum to the warranty. As I understand it, they can still void the powertrain warranty for a non EPA tuner. Am I wrong ?

My experience with the TriBar is that the little pins on the sides where the power leads connect are very sensitive. The power leads only connect in 1 specific orientation. You should not have to force the connection. Thanks If there is too much resistance then you are forcing the leads and therefore could be bending the pins. The right orientation can be confirmed by checking the notch on the side of the plug, they should line up with the notch on the power lead. When I was having an issue, I disconnected both power leads and saw that I had bent 2 of the pins from forcing the connection. When I straightened out the pins, and connected the leads in the right orientation, I had no issues. I hope this helps.

Yikes, that’s tedious. I’m curious at the end result. The only thing I can think of is sometimes Harley is notorious for reverse polarity… good luck with your search

@@crazylouie68 try turning on your ignition switch, turn on your hazard lights, turn off ignition...let hazards run for 2 minutes...turn on ignition, turn off hazards... all Custom Dynamics lights you have added will need this step to sequence the lights to your ECM

@@CaribooHarleyRider issue isn’t the lights, i think it’s a short to the tri-bar. Custom dynamics was saying it’s the blu/white striped wire. The light works on run, just doesn’t brighten up on brake.

So weird I just tried ordering a second one from www.customdynamics.com, when I click on their CNA (Canadian model) it sends me to a page not found window. I wonder if their discontinued or are out of stock. Try to contact them and ask They can be reached by email: sales@customdynamics.com or by phone 1-800-382-1388. I’m sure they can explain what’s going on.

The part number varies on the motorcycle you ride. If you go to www.customdynamics.com you can search for the light that you want, TriBar or otherwise, as well as inputting your motorcycle year and model. Also, I can’t stress this enough, if you have a Canadian motorcycle, you must select the Canadian version of the TriBar light or else it will not work. The Canadian and US bikes are wired differently because the Canadian bikes have an extra tail light protruding from the fender.

Honestly I just searched for a head pipe for the Milwaukee Eight. I found the used one like I mentioned for about a hundred dollars.

Do you have any other add ons? Headers? Air cleaner? Maybe you’re running rich… I’d suggest running a tunner

No question is a dumb question. Yes your US bike comes with the Tri Bar light. The bikes in Canada have the tri bar light disabled, and have a bulky standard light on the rear fender. I just added the tri bar light because I believe it looks cool and I am a strong believer that you can’t have too many lights on a bike. Ride safe

Off the top of my head, I would say yes. I’m not 100% sure on that though, it would be best to contact their Product Support people. I had the FP3 on my old bike (2008 HD Rocker C Softail) The FP3 was great and it had a lot of products that it supported; of course Vance and Hines, as well as other popular brands.
